UKIP officials quit in Hillsborough row
      Feb 20, 2017 12:31:30 pm
Two UKIP branch officials have resigned from the party, claiming leader Paul Nuttall and donor Arron Banks showed ''crass insensitivity'' about the Hillsborough disaster.

Nuttall said last week he was ''sorry'' over false claims he had lost close friends in the tragedy.

Banks later tweeted he was ''sick to death'' hearing about Hillsborough.

Liverpool and Merseyside chairman Stuart Monkham and Adam Heatherington called the comments ''unprofessional''.

I thought that was really stupid and crass from Banks, then again I think the hounding of Nuttall is also a bit over the top, its not like he wasn't personally affected by the tragedy, seeing as he was actually at the match. Saying that he lost a close personal friend when he didn't is stupid but I don't see it as showing disrespect, more a case of exaggeration for effect, but its hardly the worst exaggeration a politician has ever done.

Thing is though was he really at the match, no one F***ing knows, that could also be a F***ing lie. The echo have been chatting to former pupils who went to school with him and also teachers from around the period from his school he went to in Liverpool. Seems no one can remember him saying anything about going at the time. He's a F***ing scumbag, especially as most in this city know Nuttall as a failed tory dickhead, who once represented the cu*ts in Sefton.

The hounding isn't over the top, Nuttall deserves everything he gets, you only have to look back at what happens when he opens his mouth - he generally just chats sh*t. A bit like like wanting article 2 of the EHCR found in the Human Rights Act removed from UK law back around 2013. Had he got his way we would never have got a second inquest. Does make you think ?

As for Banks, another F***ing gobs***e former money c**t just like Farage using this "helping the working man" bollocks to further his own F***ing ends and agenda.

Fair play to them for resigning in protest.

The fact Nuttall is still silent on Banks, after a week, sums up his lack of respect for the people he claims to represent.

Truth is these ex-Tories were not welcome in a party trying to disguise it's far-right leanings, with no moderation UKIP will destroy itself.
