Fair to say I think we just played our 'Get out of jail free' card there.

Not sure what to think of that. At times we looked sloppy, gave the ball away waaay too much, and lost nearly every 50-50 ball. At times I was starting to worry that we were looking tired, that our style was catching up with us. Not sure what's wrong with Firmino of late.

Still though, that's 3 points in the bag and a little more daylight between us and City.

3 clean sheets in 4 Prem games. Conceded just 1 in those 4. Definitely getting better at the back.

A hard fought second half, everyone done their bit, and we are looking good and very versatile.
Gino my motm. Not just for the goal, his allround performance was a huge step up today, but hendo, lallana, Mane, well everyone really, ran him close.
Aguero, Silva, DeBruyne, Toure, Fernandinho, all had a fair bit of the ball especially second half, but never done any damage with it because we bossed them. Any other game, Sterling would have been hooked at half time, but Pep was saving him from total Humiliation, to his peril.

You're not the only one mate. He had a tough time adapting his game to be more defensive when he first joined, then he had that season or two where he was insane before getting injured. He's been nothing short of a top class professional and plenty of players will do well to learn from him when things aren't going their way.

Milner had a solid game against Sterling, But i have been questioning what exactly Gini brings to the team... Well tonight he played his best game in a  Liverpool shirt that i have seen him, and not because he scored, but more for his overall play I am giving him MOTM... Well done Gini
