Championship side Reading have completed the signing of defender Tiago Ilori from Liverpool.

The two clubs are understood to have agreed a £3.75m fee for the 23-year-old, who has represented Portugal at youth level.

London-born Ilori joined Liverpool for £7m from Sporting Lisbon in 2013 but has made only three FA Cup appearances.

He has had loan spells at Aston Villa and Bordeaux, where he scored one goal in 14 games for the Ligue 1 side.

      Wish him well
On a rare occasion that he played for us I never thought he looked that bad. Just thought he needed a run of games but clearly none of our managers have seen that extra little bit of quality that they all wanted.
Still believe he could turn out to be a good player.

Best of luck to the lad. Could never understand spunking 7 million on him only to never give him a go.

Neck on the line...next 2 seasons well be saying why did we sell him. Fancy him to make it big
