Whilst I agree that Hendo had an off day with his passing he did plenty of good work in breaking up their play and that to me is his main role. If he has a good playmaker in front of him, someone like Lallana, then he's not relied on as much for the smart passing.

Can't  believe 13 fans gave motm to someone other than Firmino. Very interesting.

Never understand why we pass it 5 yards to someone that passes it right back. Or pass it 5 yards to someone that passes it 5 more yards when the first guy could have just passed it the 10 and cut out the middle man not giving the defense as much time.

I mean I'm self admittedly no expert and "soccer" wasn't my first sport growing up but it seems like we make it harder than it needs to be.

Its something ive noticed for weeks needless endless passes in fact thousands of them  , it might make us king of the passing stat but that means nothing , thsts why stats are so misleading .

isn't this the annoying part though? 14 points better off then last year but still 10 points off the top having lost to Burnley Bournemouth and Swansea and dropped points to Sunderland and West Ham. That's 13 points we should not be dropping.

I thought at the time and still stand by it, Klopp going on Sky Sports and explaining how his team plays would not help us as any manager watching would take note of it. Naturally I got shot down at the time with various insults but look whats happened since, we have been found out.

Somebody asked the other day which bellend voted for Klavan. 

I think we could get back in the top 4 race as we have 2 very winnable fixtures Chelsea and spurs at home, if we can avoid defeat at hull then we're back in it....

Can passes it 5 to Bobby. Oppo comes to mark Bobby only to be thwarted by the 5 pass back to Can. This may be repeated a few times in a short period of time. Next time...

Can passes it 5 to Bobby. Oppo doesn't get so tight because 'what's the point; right?'. Bobby now has the time and space to turn his man and attack.

Keep the opposition moving and guessing whilst retaining possession. Like I say; fairly standard stuff but if one hasn't played [been coached] I guess it does leave you scratching the head. 😎

That's all well and good mate and I think most get it .but it really only works well when teams are coming at you as has been proved recently when teams sit back compact  in a 4 5 1 that pattern of play is not so effective ,we've just been passing back and fourth in front of them .
