Genuine question, when was the last time we had such a good number 2? I'd argue he's even superior to Dudek, when he was Reina's understudy.

Kelleher is such an amazing young man, so calm under pressure, great reflexes, good with his feet. An ideal Liverpool GK. It saddens me that he'll probably leave this summer but to be fair, he is ready and deserves to play PL football week in, week out.

Technically speaking, the chavs keeper didn't let US down either... 

Amazing seeing this story develop with Caoimhin. Two critical stops - solid saves and utterly reliable throughout. It's testament to him and must act as a real inspiration for all young players coming through the ranks.

Big mistake by the chavs to do that, would have been like us taking Kelleher off and putting Ally on for the pens, imagine how that would have destroyed Kelleher's confidence,. Klopp got it spot on tonight.

Begs the question how long can we keep this lad as no 2 , he’s surely got aspirations to be a No1 , has all the attributes to do it as well , he’s not unseating Aly any time soon Klopp regarded him as the better goalkeeper said so after the game .

This lads first team quality, just his bad luck he’s got Ali in front of him. Looking through the keepers in the Premier League, from what we’ve seen of Kelleher so far, he’s well ahead of many of them IMO.

Used to be a striker mate- it was a very confident pen! I love the fella, he's proud to be a red and shown the determination you need to be successful at the highest level. We are blessed with the goalies we have right now.

Forgot about that. Makes sense his penalty was so well kicked. I believe Ederson also used to be a striker.
