I think we'll be looking for at least 20 mill.

He's a full international, he's still young for a keeper and he's got a couple of years left on his contract. If we were selling a first choice player with those credentials then we'd be looking for astronomical amounts so for a second choice player I expect 20 million plus.

That would mean a new transfer record for Celtic.

If they do have 70 million in the bank (I'll trust you as you know more about the Scottish game than I do) then maybe they'll be prepared to splash that amount on him.

If the lad wants to go there, then Im sure they figure something out, loan to buy then payment plan or some such.

Could end up a bidding war though, as he will have a few options. But being an Irish lad, Im sure celtic would be a big pull for him.

There'll certainly be others interested in him and I think we'd entertain a bidding war as we get the full whack for FFP (I think). As far as I'm aware we're in no danger of failing any of that stuff but we have lost a few quid on players recently who've left on freebies (Bobby, Naby, Ox) so maybe a few 100% sales on our own produced players wouldn't go a miss.

What a bizarre post to bump the thread with. Literally nothing he could do with the header, the marking was beyond shocking.

What? There should have been a defender with the near post. What happened with a player guarding the post and the possibility of heading a goal is minimised. Nowadays the counter attack takes priority.

Impressive reflux too. Keep it up against Luton and Chelsea. I won't rush Alisson since that next Sunday, Kelleher will play the final nonetheless.

Even then they weren't the best keepers in the league, plus Kirkland was a walking sicknote

I'm surprised no one has commented on Kelleher's distribution, it was pretty woeful last night. I lost count of the number of hopeful, floated scoops straight down the middle of the pitch.
