Nah. Northern Irish is still Irish. Even proddies who see themselves as British also generally see themselves as Irish as well.

(There might be the odd hardline Gaelic racist who thinks Ulster prods aren't really Irish but they'd be pretty rare. Republicans generally still see prods as Irish. It's one of the few points of identity in NI that isn't controversial. Which is slightly weird, but good.)

I don't even know what foot Jennings kicked with on that one but, either way,  he's Irish.

That's what I mean mate and why I was joking with HR making the difference.

Saying that though and without going down to political a route I know plenty of prods who would rather burn than be called Irish. And many Catholics who'd go mental if you called them Northern Irish.

Starts today and can obviously be relied on. Might not have all that much to do. Probably start V West Ham and might have to make the odd save or six.

Aye, had a vague feeling after I posted that you might be from NI yourself and probably knew what I just said already.

This. It's never a case of being overly worried when Ali gets an (inevitable) injury....

Likewise. Genuinely doesn't worry me at all. Which says a lot for Kelleher, given how good Ali is.

      La Liga Table atm:

      20 Valencia Pld 5 GD -7 Pts 1

We signed the best keeper at the Euros? Doesn't look like it.

      ;D, ok thanks Chief Scout.

Robertson was relegated. VVD and Mane were only at Southampton. Alisson was beaten so many times by us at Roma, etc

That doesn’t look like we signed players with good track record… but it turns out otherwise

It is the whole team dynamic not on an individual level.

Robbo, VVD and Mane all had EPL experience. They also were players we desperately needed, and only VVD was more expensive than a keeper we're paying good money on someone we don't need, to go and play somewhere else atm.

LFCTV were petrified at the thought of Alisson been absent at the weekend, in the pre match preview show. Then their win % last season was brought up. We had a 80% win rate and unbeaten record in the league with Kelleher last season, compared to a modest 56% win rate without him. Another 24% (or even half that) and we would probably be league champions now.

I never felt more secure this season, and again he delivered another motm performance. It would be great if it was a regular thing rather than an occasional good news story.

      He wasn’t Motm

      And as for “regular”

Do you want him as no 1 over Allison
