Liverpool 1-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers: In game and Post Match discussion
      Jan 28, 2017 11:15:24 am

      Anfield this afternoon

Starting XI: Karius, Randall, Gomez, Klavan, Moreno, Lucas, Ejaria, Wijnaldum, Woodburn, Firmino, Origi

Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Stewart, Can, Wilson, Coutinho, Sturridge

Jürgen Klopp makes nine changes for Liverpool's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield this afternoon.

The likes of Connor Randall, Joe Gomez, Ovie Ejaria and Ben Woodburn are drafted into the starting line-up for the clash with the Championship club.

There are also berths for Alberto Moreno, Lucas Leiva, Gini Wijnaldum and Divock Origi.

Only Loris Karius and Roberto Firmino retain their places from the team deployed against Southampton last time out.

Klopp has named a strong bench that includes James Milner, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.

Klopp sticking to his guns in fielding younger for FACup. Clearly more than one eye on Chelsea. What happened to Alexander? He played decently enough.

      Come on Reds.

Haven't got a prediction or anything of the like in me, for this.

Just hope we show up and get an early goal.

      Meh.

I recall Klopp saying there was going to be a strong team out with few changes? This is the opposite.

Can see us losing this with that line up.

      1:2 to Wolves.

Make of that team what you will thought Matip would have played and Sturridge. Can and Sturridge back in for Tuesday

We are a wounded animal, and I guess Wolves can smell blood, and the fact we're injured, I can see this being a bad day.

whatever defenders he would have put out we would have conceded anyway, so for me without Can and Lallana hopelessly out of form that looks an interesting line up.

Karius thrown in the deep end a little with that defence ahead of him :D

Not a fan of Randall at all but will be interesting how that shapes up and where Woodburn actually lines up. Excited to see some of these young lads given a chance but it's certainly a bit of a gamble going as young as that.

Thinking 2-1 and some good experience for the lads, bring it on!

Lost a bit of confidence after looking at the team, looks dodgy at the back to say the least.

if I'm a wolves player I'm thinking these cu*ts think they can field a half arsed team of kids and turn us over and I would be F***ing chomping to get stuck in.

We do realise this is the FA Cup our only realistic chance of a trophy this year or doesn't that matter anymore?

      Conor Coady on Wolves line-up.

We win this round comfortably because Klopp would want a reaction and he has the energy to pump our team back to some form.

One positive with that line up is there's no Can,so we might see some pace in the middle.
Still feel we can do a job over these.
