Steven Gerrard returns to Liverpool as Academy Coach

Welcome back laddieee!

He has been there before, seen and done it all before with great success but what is most important I'd believe is he would instill the confidence in the young players and get them to perform to their full potential. Interesting and exciting times ahead and I can only wish Stevie all the best and he deserves that.

I don't think it was ever in any doubt that Stevie would return to the club in a coaching capacity.It will do him good to start at the Academy and give him valuable experience which will benefit him and the club in the long term.

Sure as eggs is eggs Stevie would be back Billy, he's got his badges and no doubt this is his first step on the road to that that golden sky of managing LFC, that must be his dream.

Love the fact he's taken this route rather than expecting to go straight into a management role.  Let him develop himself and the kids under the guidance of our experienced youth coaches and his own youth mentor, Steve Heighway.

No expectation, no pressure, away from the limelight, he'll give his all and more for the Club.
