Lets get back on track ,and get this proud and great club back in the top 4 on track for C/L .We have a great manager and he will build for next season ,too many let him down ,you dont play like champions early season then fade away second period lets get behind them .YNWA  I predict a 2/1 win to the red men

Hard to get up for this one to be honest, our recent form has left me flat. It's likely that we could go out and beat them, they're going to come at us all guns blazing, which gives us a bit of space to attack, but with our defence as shockingly bad as it is, we'll need to score a few to get a result.

      Couldn't agree more.
There's a long way to go to that finish line yet.
I think Sturridge should start with Mane up front and don't be surprised to see Moreno start in place of fuse blown Milner.

My only fear is Can will start yet again in plod mode and Lallana's still wearing that big girls blouse.

Unfortunately, due to our form this year and the fact that spurs are a good team, I'm thinking the inevitable will happen. Don't like to say it, because I can't remember the last time I went for a loss, but they'll really try to destroy us.

Hopefully, I'm completely wrong and we knock them off the park, but my gut says 1-3 😞

If we start with the same line up as Hull we lose.

If Klopp gets his act together with the team selection we win.

They have a very strong eleven and well balanced. It's gonna be a tough game, but I expect a win. We don't really struggle vs strong teams, just the sh*t ones that put 10 men behind the ball, and Spurs don't park the bus.

Funnily enough this is exactly the sort of game where Can might be needed against the physicality of Dembele and Wanyama

I wish I had your confidence these days. 1 win in about 10 games had knocked me for 6.

Our record against teams like this has to give you belief we wont lose. We need a win really, draws against Chelsea and Utd were decent performances but this is a good chance to beat a top 4 rival.

If we lose we are going to be up against it for the rest of the season.

Sooner or later we need to stop beating ourselves up over what has happened, and get back to playing with freedom and confidence. Eventually we will put a run together but until then it's damage limitation. I believe we will end the season strongly and that could sneak us into the top 4.

I want to see a bit of fight and character in this lot now.

I just keep reminding myself that we're a good team mate, that we played some fabulous footy up until a few weeks ago, that all our casualties are back and we're back to having plenty of training time again.

They've dropped points recently too and weren't that convincing at the weekend.

If I can't stay confident after what I've seen we're capable of what's the point.

      That's the spirit!

In any football match, anywhere (possibly with the exception of North Korea!) any side can beat any other, it is as simple as that.

Support is not confined to buying scarfs or car window stickers, if everybody had your attitude none of us would bother turning up!

You really think we won't concede even one goal, Wow that is optimism. I think we will either lose or at best sneak a draw unless Klopp really does something really clever with the formation and/or players but on past evidence I very much doubt it.

So are you saying that a pub team could beat a full strength, and motivated, Barcelona or Real Madrid team playing at their home grounds. No F***ing way, would never ever happen.
In this case though of course we have a chance of winning, but based on recent performances of both teams we will need to play a LOT better than we have recently

I'd not argue any of that, but if we go into any game saying we will lose this then what's the point?

My point here is that support comes from belief, yes the players need to perform, but they will bounce off us hopefully, if we are low key they will be too. We are a club with an anthem of "you'll never walk alone". Saying we won't win writes us off before a ball has been kicked!

And incidentally, if you look at results over the years from the FA cup, I would say yes, any team can beat any other team, because it has been done!

I know where you are coming from but our issues are against teams that park 10 players behind the ball.
Spurs like our selves like to press aggressively in the middle and final third of the pitch.

Two of their better players Rose and Vertongen will also be missing.

Edit : We smashed Barca earlier in the season so maybe Hull are better than Barca  :D
