who again must be fit if he's on the bench

He isn't injured but obviously not 95 minutes match fit.  He only came back to full training on Thursday.

      Just like a bus... :lmao:

Players can be fit enough to play a part but not a full 90 minutes, but your prerogative to think he was lying, I see no motivation to do so though there.

In any case on to the match.

I saw a stat today that both Milner and Clyne figure in the top 10 players in the entire league with number of touches. I wanted a change at either spot today because I think neither have been offering nearly enough for us recently. That change from my point of view would have been to flip Clyne onto the left hand side and bring TAA in.

As neither are dropping out I want to see much more from them today, Clyne must offer that outlet on the outside and for the love of god if you run out of an idea recycle the ball backwards, lumping it in to anywhere will just result in an easy counter for them and this is where we're being exposed so painfully this year.

Agree. Big game for our full backs. So fundamental to how we play and there downfall in form has contributed as much to anything to our form of late.

OK this is getting bizarre now.

Jürgen clearly rates Lovren higher than Klavan, why wouldn't he start him if he was actually fit? Lovren is just returning from injury and clearly isn't fit enough to play the full 90 would be my guess but I'd be 100% confident he isn't actually fit enough to start and see only very silly reasons for questioning this.

It's not that bizarre, you just love and agree with 99% of everything he does. I bet Klopp disagrees with himself more than you do.

My argument stems from the very strict way in which Klopp decides if a player is ready to start.

Some managers would put him in, Klopp always wants a full week training out of a player before letting him start a game.

I know you are going to say that that is wise and great and minimises risk of injury.

A lot of managers will gamble on a player. I'd have gambled on Klavan last week, and i'd gamble on Lovren this week. Can see just as much likelihood of injury coming on cold off the bench.

We don't have the squad to be so patient sadly and if we did have the squad thwy probably wouldn't be risked from the bench at all.

I'll take 60 from him with a full warm up pre match, and the last 30 for Klavan.

I'm pretty sure the boss would have played Lovren if he possibly could as we've really missed him, so he can't be fully fit. I can't honestly understand the controversy.

No manager ever does that with his CB's you don't want to disrupt the partnership. More importantly you are wasting a sub which might be needed in the game.

I'm not too sure, a lot of chat about Klopp needing a full week training out of his player before starting him.

The case could well be that in this case their is no choice, but in the past I felt he could have got the likes of Coutinho, Matip, Sturridge back a game earlier.

Not sure I'd start with a central defender knowing I was going to have to use one of my subs to replace him.  Pisses me off enough that we are having to change defenders per game - I'd rather not start needing to do it actually during a game as well.

Coquelin and Xhaka to get stuck in, Giroud to pump the ball up to.

Not confident about this one with the recent effort. Hope I'm wrong and we batter them. Giroud scares me, when hasn't he scored in the last minute?

Why didn't Mignolet catch that, the f**king wimp? And F***ing Can should have got a touch before setting them up for the counter attack.

      Usual F***ing suspects.

He's made about 3 or 4 of them, the one that broke the line and he had to give to Milner was so annoying. No support whatsoever from either Mane or Coutinho.

But get the F**k in Bobby Boy!!!
