He'd walk into just about any team in the world on current form.

      Whoever said that is crazy.

Or drunk. Or forgot to take their meds: they all work, in this instance, to be fair. 🤡

Dortmund finished 3rd in the Bundesliga. That would make Hoffenheim an unseeded team in the CL play-offs.

And CSKA have taken 2nd in the Russian league, unless something very dramatic happens in th elast 5 minutes, so does that mean that if we win today that we'll be one of the seeded teams in CL qualification?

Well, that confirms that we are seeded.

Our potential opponents come May - Sporting Lisbon, Viktoria Plzen, CSKA Moscow, Club Brugge, Steaua Bucharest, Young Boys, Hoffenheim, Nice, Istanbul Basaksehir or Beşiktaş, runners-up in Greece's League.

      Looks easy enough :D

76 points is a good effort. Bit taken aback that it needed such a lot to get 4th given that it would have been enough for pretty much every season in history but we rose to the level in the end.

No respect for either manager or club so I'm kicking myself because I should have had a good bet on that at the time. 😯

All Should be very beatable over 2 legs, only team I'd be a bit nervous about is Hoffenheim, but F**k it we're back, we'll win the whole damn thing!!

27 points over the final 36 points is a terrific effort and we fully deserved to finish where we did.

Faced up to the pressure and didn't lose their nerve.  Well done.

      First leg - 15/16 August
      Second leg - 22/23 August

I think they're after the 1st and 2nd games of the season.

Just been reflecting on the fact that we made it to the TOP 4.. by a single point.. ahead of Arsenal.

Firstly, all that discussion about how Arsenal would drop points in the run in. Well, isn't is a good job that we didn't screw up any more after drawing with Southampton. Arsenal won the last 5 games straight!! As it turns out, no, a draw at West Ham would not have been enough ;)

Secondly, it all goes back to that 1st game of the season, against Arsenal. 4-3. Wow. What good fortune that we beat them that day. It was a momentous day. A sign of things to come, and oh how we destroyed them!! Yet, how close were they to coming right back and drawing that game??

1 point separated us. Many games in between, but in my mind significant that we won that 1st game of the season!  ;D Perhaps we won 4th spot in that 1st game!!

Dan, your not the man, Mate instead of focusing on the negative why not look at the positive, who gives a F**k how many pts we were ahead of Arse, fact is we did and deservedly so,

Who's to say had we not lost Mane we would have sealed 3Rd or maybe even bridesmaids,?

We achieved what we set out to do, that's all that matters now.!

      Is right 😄

Especially as the caliber of our signings may "depend on CL qualification". 🤑
