With Arsenal losing today, even a draw would not be a bad result . As long as the defence plays it's part anything is possible.

With Arse losing, surely that has to give our lads the incentive to give it 100% high octane controlled footy for 90 + minutes !
      Doesn't it ?

That puts some air between them and us and our pride should keep us in front of the Mancs.

City still have the Cup to go for so they still have distractions in getting themselves a trophy  but the winners of the other semi final should kill off that dream for them in May.

Game of the season for our CL qualification .... and someone kick Sterling in the first 5 minutes .

With a win vs City it may still not be enough, but it goes a long way towards it though, I still need to do our part and just hope for things to fall our way... Get in Red Men

WTF are you on about...Spurs have lost Kane, Arsenal are imploding..even a draw at city would be a decent result as long as we follow up against the bitters.

This is a massive game for us, we will fight this game no doubt. I will keep in the shadows for this one as well because January run was painful for me and we won the last few games when I have been in the shadows.

We need to come out attacking for first second until the last one.

Are you forgetting that Man Utd are without Ibra and are facing a Middlesborough team who have just lost their very unpopular manager, that will not be an easy game for them at all.

Even if we lose to Citeh today its not the end of the world we can still secure 4th spot.

What's the situation with ibra then. He's got a 3 game suspension, but he's injured.
Does the suspension cover games when he's fit to play, or do they include the matches he's out injured?
Just wondering because the tossers struggle to score when he isn't playing. Could he be out for 4 or 5 weeks, or will it just be the 3?
We could be well clear of them by the time he returns 😃
Sorry, bit off topic, but could be important to us .

The usual p@sh being spouted on here before a game, depending on other teams downfalls, players injured, suspended etc, story of our season, just believe in our team and be positive man up and f@cking win,we only have the league ,no cup distractions so just get on with it.

Remind me Who was it who beat Arsenal 3-1??.. Oh yea! West Brom... A side we face in five games time... Along with Southampton, and West Ham, two side we failed to beat in the League, and one of which beat us in the Cup (Southampton)

Man UTD are 6 pts a drift with two games in hand, even without Kane Tottenham are still 1 pts  a head and a game in hand. Arsenal are 5 pts behind and two games in hand, and here's the real kicker... They all have better records against lower league opposition than we do... Hence It May Not Be Enough

      Agree with this.

Feeling quite relaxed about today's game. City away won't decide whether or not we'll finish in the top four, it's games like Boro, Palace, Bournemouth etc that will.

Have to be honest, this is one fixture I do not look forward to. I've always thought that if City click on the day, they can destroy any team. I'm just hoping we click as well.

Never confident about City away. But you just never know with Klopp running the show.

All I want today is good quality football and maximum effort.

I'm usually confident about this fixture, but not so today without the industry of Henderson. It's not just about his footballing ability, or lack of it. It's more about his mobility and stamina, getting in their faces and making tackles and interceptions for 90 mins that we will miss.
He has the ability to disrupt the oppositions rythm when he's on song, something Can doesn't offer for long enough periods of a game.
I am therefore slightly more apprehensive about the outcome.
Still stick my neck out and go for a 2-1 win to the Red Men though.
