Milner in midfield......pft people forgotten his last performance in that position......the first half against Dortmund!

He was an absolute liability and luckily Klopp changed that situation in the second half.

Everton looking a little shabby in midfield themselves.

Got a few key injuries to their centre mids. Think Schneiderlin and Mccarthy are definitely out and it's looking like we could be up against Gareth Barry.

If Phil can't play midfield then stick Trent AA in there, him Gini,Emre Can more than enough to handle them lot.Scouse heart etc,few dodgy tackles and a red card,f***in history.

If Sturridge is training... why is Klopp still insisting he is out injured? Get him in the team!!!!

Don't have the link, but read it in the express this morning.
Not the best source I agree, but did think it was very sudden.

You've got a real cob on don't you with Sturridge according to you now been deliberately overlooked.

Drop the victim mentality and stop playing that card clearly his F***ing coach knows better then anyone if he's fit or not. Given his appalling injury record the lad needs easing into the F**k knows what injury he's carrying now.

This is the one match in the Premier League which remains undimmed by the corporate, sensationalised bullshit that is the Premier League. Scouse not English remember! Just all about the football. The best that the great city has to offer which no other place in Europe can provide.

Derby day has arrived and I can't wait for kick off,I imagine they fancied there chances before there recent injury list so I guess those injuries  has took some wind out of there sails,
It is also April the 1st so I hope the reds make fools out of this lot & there supporters like we always do.

If Sturridge is training... why is Klopp still insisting he is out injured? Get him in the team!!!!

Daniel Sturridge is determined to win his fitness battle ahead of the Merseyside derby, writes Mirror Football's Liam Prenderville.

The Liverpool striker hasn't played since the defeat to Hull at the start of February.

Sturridge had been suffering from a virus, which saw him sent home from a training camp in Spain, before picking up a hip problem.

But he was back in training on Thursday and could return against Everton this weekend.

He took to Instagram to provide an update as he eyes a spot on the bench at Anfield

      That's the worrying thing!  :D

As there's now talk of Lucas and his mobility scooter entering the fray!

Indeed belly and our (collective) reaction to losing just two starters is as big an admission, as you're likely to see, to the fact that we all know how shallow the quality pool has become...

Three quality players, every two years, under this lot [instead of eleventy-seven cut price punts] would have cost no more, would have seen us perform no worse and would have left us with quality in depth...

Not shitting bricks because two starters are out against effin Everton.

We will do the blueshite by the way.  😊

With lallana and Hendo out it does pose a problem in the midfield for us. For me it would have to be Milner to replace lallana and put Gomez at left back.

Sounds like a weakened side, will be fielded, with so many players side lined through injury.

I've gone for an Everton win. What with our injuries, Everton have a bit of momentum, and they'll still be out for payback after Mane's injury time winner in the last game.

That said, a draw wouldn't be the worst result considering the rest of our run in and more to the point, the run in the other teams around us have. Just saying a draw wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Ironic seeing as the worst result in the world would be the one I've chosen. Sums up my feelings about today's game
