No if;s or buts we have to win this match for a top four finish and just as important for pride.Treat it as a cup final between us and we can't lose.

The way our cup finals have gone in recent years, that may not be the best of ideas ;)

Just beat these bitter fuckers. I don't care how, but considering Ben Woodburn wasn't even born the last time they won here, if they were to get a result,it is unlikely we will ever hear the end of it, like Andy King or Greame f**king Sharpe. F**k off back to your little wooden hut, friendly derby? F**k off blueshite!

Getting to that time of the season again, when we get to beat the blues!! Roll on Saturday afternoon - so seeing as just under a week to go let's have some heart-warming derby goals by the reds.

      I was there . In the Kop .  ;D

Stevie Heighway slotting home from an angle just like Luis.

Chris Lawler doing what he did ...... ghosting in .

Tommy Smith could always knock a good pass together .

Fab memories  .   It was November .

My favourite memory and apologies if this has been mentioned already is when Steve Mcmahon raced to the touchline, just stopped the ball in time on the white line, ran into the crowd straight to the kiosk, quick cup of tea, turned,  sprinted back just before the Everton player got there then crossed for Aldo at far post then Peter Beardsley lashing in at the Kop end as well, 2-0

Firmino a doubt for this now he's apparently picked up a throat inflammation on international duty. Has to be a decent chance he can recover in time but still not the best preparation.

Is that like a sore throat?

Guessing so, but more encouraging news on the matter:

      BREAKING NEWS:

Brazil coach TITE has just confirmed on air that Roberto Firmino WILL start against Paraguay.

Also news that, as last time, we'll be hiring a private jet to get them back as quick as possible.

Derby day on the Kop, can't bloody well wait, Scousers here, scousers there, scousers every f*****g where, na na na na na na na na na  :D Feel a damn good win by the mighty redmen on Saturday, early start but who cares when you can see LFC batter the bitters from the Kop in the sunshine, bring it on and let's take these lot down a peg or two.

Nice mosaic for Ronnie on Saturday and what better way to honour his memory than by a thumping victory, the boot room boys will be celebrating in the sky  :kop5cf8koxp6:

Sing loud, sing proud with that Liverbird on my chest  :gt-happyup:

Really need a result against Everton on Saturday, despite their good run of form. Heart says another Reds victory, head says a score draw.

Logically it could be a tricky game with them on a good run and us playing after an international break but its a derby, its at our place so I fancy a Win for us. 3-1

Few injuries for the blues, no? Looking likely that yard dog Barry will start.

Horrible player, so pleased he never joined us. I get irritated just looking at him run around the pitch. Hopefully Emre is in similar mood to the City game and gets the first blow in, because Barry always does it in such a cowardly manner, he deserves a taste of his own medicine.

Spot on Luke. I reckon Can will be up for it. Just hope he doesn't get carried away - with Taylor being the ref (A manc), I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least one red card on Saturday..

With Lallana out, we should have Hendo starting the game and we need a strong midfield in this game. Hopefully Gini can more than make up for Lallana's absence.

f***in gutted, I'm well pissed off, why is it that it always seems to be our players that come away with a injury after playing in a pointless meaningless Shitty f***in Engerlund kunty international,

We are already understrength without our skip, now one of our main attackers is crocked, in the pivotal time of the season,
F**k the Euros, F**k the world f***in cup,  F**k engerlund,

I bet Jürgen's apoplectic,  this has completely fu**ed his plans up and without doubt made us alot weaker, unbalanced and could cost us points,

      f***in BOLLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The McAllister goal at the death in 01 is my favorite derby memory, albeit from thousands of miles away. Great reading some of your recollections on here.

Three options for our front six I'm guessing.

      1. Hendo, Can and Gini in midfield, with Phil, Bobby and Mane in the front, left to right.

      or

      2. Hendo/Can, Gini/Can and Phil in midfield with Phil playing attacking mid role, and Divock, Bobby and Sadio in fron three.

      or

      3. Go 4-4-2, with Hendo, Gini, Can and Phil in mid, and Bobby and Mane up front. I probably like this best, but it's the one I'd least expect Jürgen to employ.
