I guess this shouldn't be, but really is another big game, a must win if you like.

This lot deserve a major going over, leading 3-1 with 14 mins to go we managed to gift them a 4-3 win back in early December.

Their form has been reasonable against middle teams, but against the better teams they have been beaten. We must turn them over.

                        ... so some teams will lose points, thus we must not slip up.

I'd go with the team that started on Saturday baring injuries, if changes are to be made, then so be it, maybe Origi on for Mane, & if possible and injury willing Mane on the bench, but even this is unlikely as the offal reports, Sadio Mane is unlikely to be fit for Liverpool's game against Bournemouth on Wednesday after picking up an injury during this afternoon's Merseyside derby victory, Jürgen Klopp has confirmed.

On a side note, and a vastly important one, Liverpool Football Club will pay tribute to the 96 supporters who lost their lives at Hillsborough during this week's game against Bournemouth at Anfield.

A minute of applause will take place before kick-off to celebrate the lives of the 96 and, in time-honoured tradition, fans at the Kop end will reveal a commemorative mosaic.

Players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect and tributes will be displayed on LED boards surrounding the pitch. There will also be a commemorative edition of the matchday programme.  LFC 96

Think Spurs losing is a slightly wishful thinking but then Swansea are fighting for their lives so who knows. The other games could well be upsets and I can see Citeh beating the Chavs.
Oh and we really should be able to beat Bournemouth this time, but if we are leading with just 15 minutes left can we please play a bit more defensive ;-)

Could be massive these fixtures and results in affecting our fate in the remaining games.
Got to take all three from these on Wednesday as a priority.

Think we'll win 5 of our last 8 games and this will be one of them.

LFC to mark 28th anniversary of Hillsborough

Liverpool Football Club will pay tribute to the 96 supporters who lost their lives at Hillsborough during this week's game against Bournemouth at Anfield.

On Saturday April 15, players and staff across the club will fall silent at 3.06pm to observe a minute's silence to mark the 28th anniversary.

LFCTV will feature a day of themed programming and will be free to air in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and worldwide online via the club's official website and LFCTV GO.

LFC stores in Liverpool, Birkenhead, Chester, Dublin and Belfast will also cease trading temporarily so both staff and customers can participate in the minute of silence.

There will be no Hillsborough memorial service at Anfield this year, at the request of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, who informed the club last January that the 2016 service would be the final one to be held at the stadium.

On April 26, 2016 an inquest jury concluded that the 96 supporters who lost their lives as a result of the Hillsborough disaster were unlawfully killed and that no role was played by the fans in causing the tragedy.

Stems from not being seen in training pictures but given the challenges Can took against the bluenoses I wouldn't be surprised if he was only on light training anyway. Or it could simply be that the photographer didn't catch them, no clue but that's where it appears to come from.

It's bitters all over Can on Saturday. They were just trying to hurt our players. Basically, if you can't beat them at a game of football then injure them so that their season doesn't improve.

There can only be one result and that has to be a win for the REDS,with a bit (lot) of payback.I cannot see us slipping up like we did at Bournemouth.

We really should be able to win this one, Bournemouth aren't really bus parkers anyway, its more Stoke and West Brom I'm a bit nervous about.

Quite a shocking statement there at the end, unfortunately it's how we mostly feel this season!

We should beat these at home and if we don't then we only have ourselves to blame if come May we are in the Europa League.

That said, the past few games has seen a semi resurgence of our pre Christmas form ( the corresponding fixture apart) and hopefully the team are up for some revenge.

I never look forward to these type of games where the season is coming to a close and we've still got something left to play for but we come up against mid table opposition who are under no pressure.  I'd rather play a team at the bottom or even at the top so we're both under pressure to win the game. That said, we've just wholloped another mid table team 3-1 so same again please reds.

I've not thought about the entire starting 11 but I definitely want to see TAA get a start in this game.

Same team with TAA starting in place of Mane. He has pace,a great cross and a decent shot in him. The way our squad is, he is the best replacement we have got.
I love how Klopp has given extra motivation to the guys using comments made by their player in the away game. We need this extra something in all our remaining games considering we have only got to play the kind of teams which we have fallen short against for quite sometime now.

Losing Mane last time round through the Johnstone's Paint Trophy of Africa was not good but our poor results were as much to do with the likes of Can, Coutinho, Firmino etc playing utterly wretched stuff. If Coutinho can find his best form and Can keeps up the standard of his last two games the effect of losing Mane will be nowhere near as bad.

If Lucas can't handle 2 games in over 4 and a half days then something is wrong. We played Saturday lunch time and we don't play until tomorrow night, that's a pretty big gap between games considering one of them is midweek.

Sturridge is back in training, it says expected return 5th April, so tomorrow. Bogdan is still a Liverpool goalkeeper.

Even without Mane Lallana and Henderson, the Brazilian lads should do the biz for us and if porridge gets on the pitch he'll score without doubt.
If Can is carrying an injury and he plays the full game it won't look good for Stoke away on Saturday where it will be much more physical in the middle than this game..
Like to see this fella Grujic get a run out...even Woodburn too at some point..These fresh legs and determination could well make the difference during this ugly run in.

Don't see us slipping up twice against these, even with the injuries we've got. Think Jürgen has learnt about the 'lesser' sides turning it on because they're playing us.Think he's getting the tactics better and better as the season goes on.
Expecting pretty much the same side bar Mane. who will be a big loss, but think Origi is coming back into a bit of form, and although he doesn't have the same pace, he's still a handful when he's it. Going for a comfortable 2 - 0 to us.
