If that's true I think we must have an agreement to sell Phil to Barca.. I just can't see us signing Ox, Lemar and keeping Coutinho. Anything is possible I guess, but I think whatever goes down we are in for an interesting 24+ hours.

Whoever told Chelsea to f**k off is the legend in my book.
Price a bit steep that, considering he could leave on a free next season. I trust Klopp on this one though and have a feeling the lad will develop well under the manager.
Welcome to the best club in the world, Alex!

      - He is versatile and can play in different positions
What are they? 'cause all I've been reading is that he's been poor because he's being "played OUT of position".

How can someone, who's big attraction is that he's versatile, be so unlucky in so many roles? 😂

Joking aside tho... where will he play? 🤔

For some strange reason I think that he will be a really good signing and one we look back at in a year and be saying what a shrewd bit of business.

As a squad option across potentially 4 positions he could be vital. And I really think he will flourish under Klopp
Absolutely!,no doubt in my mind either that the boss will get the best out of him,we can all see what his current stats where & his overall performances at the arse & under Wenger, but the only stats I'll be arsed about  & his performances are  those that will deffo improve under our gaffer.

Not your money so why do you care? We F***ing wasted £££££££ on sh*te like Markovic, Aquilani, Balotelli, Carroll.

To me this is a proper signing.

Reports we are paying 35, or 40. If it's 40 is he our new record signing? A player that won't touch the starting 11 is our record signing (or near record if it's 35?)

I guess we have moved up in the world when we can buy bench players for that kind of dough. ;D

Never really liked him too much but now that he is here he gets total support.

I guess just the motivation from changing Wegnger for Klopp will see him improve his game.

      Anyway, welcome to LFC!

Great to get some home grown English players into the team.

      Still young too.

Best guess...cover in CM and on the wings.  He certainly isn't a wing back though.

Same genuine question Jon... if he's not being used right at Arsenal (presumably in one of 4 roles) and that is the reason he has been poor then where will we play him that will be different?

What a load of sh*t

Out of contract in a year and we are paying all that money for a player who adds nothing but a bit of pace....not like we are lacking that anyway.

9 goals(?) in 6 years. Hope Klopp wasn't watching him on Sunday. We've been well and truly taken to the cleaners by Arsenal. Guess we can forget signing Lemar now.

Not sure he's had much chance at CM at Arsenal, though I don't know the stats. My guess is he's cover at CM and as a wide forward.

I do think the biggest difference, in terms of how we might benefit his development, is that he may suit our fast pressing high energy style more than Wenger's patient passing. Here's hoping anyway.

Because I'm a business person. And if someone offers to buy my house that is due to be demolished next year by the authorities at over the top valuations, hell I'll sell it yesterday.

If he's worth £40m next year, I'll do a deal at £35m right now.

And I don't play championship manager. That's how I think. Yes. We think differently. Just bond together on match days.
