Would love to see Lucas' stats for this game if anyone think it's worth sharing? :D I thought he was defensively solid yet again.

Missed this game but great to get the win and a big result against what can be a difficult side to play against.

Nearly had a bloody coronary there!

Shove that in your face you f**king creep of a c**t Pulis.

p.s - what HAS happened to Emre Can? He was deadbeat and now he's superb. Weird.

Didn't miss much, apart from remaining minutes of both halfs it was an absolute snore fest, good 3 points and goal by Firminho.

What a f***in result that was, the perfect follow on from that other shithouse club fookin Stoke shitty, so F**k off Pulis you f***in bawbag,

you and your anti-football bollocks, basically your just a top class kunt, hate that f**ker more than fat Sam,

thought we were sh*te first half if I'm honest, but then again we were dragged down to their mediocre level, so hard to break down two banks of four, but lack of pace didn't help us either, scoring on HT was the turning point, it made that kunt Pulis change tact which played into our hands,
could and should have wrapped things up when Milner had his brainfart, and Moreno bless him proving once again that somewhere there is a village missing its Eejit,

6pts away from stroke & Baggies by winning ugly is a good sign we can win anywhere, not forgetting we were missing Henderson, Lallana & Mane 3 of our main players,

Palace up next and yet another anti-football fuckstick in Allardyce, and another bus parking side,

looking forward to us shitting in big Sam's kettle.

Great result today Redmen, GET THE F**k IN !!!!!!!!

Firmino superb but migs for me at crucial times was very commanding and that save got us the 3 points.

Also I know he's a punch bag on here but get off Morenos back, that chance wasn't easy and he was the one that created it by winning the ball.

He done his job when he came on fine.

Was only able to catch the first 30mins of the game but just seen the score.

These are the types of games we have struggled in too often, great to get the three points and we are inching closer to that top 4!

So it seems, thought they'd still do United though. Surprising that, think it's far too late for the door to open wide enough for us but Spurs definitely right back in it now.

What an incredible league it's turned out to be this year.

Let's keep it on topic. There's other boards for discussion on other teams.

We should be discussing what a huge win that was for us, mentally. To go away to Stoke and today, West Brom and return home with all six points, sends a message out to all our players. We can dig in. We can defend. We can score from set plays. Finishing as high up as possible is in our own hands. Other teams around us can and will drop points.

I think we only conceded one corner in the first half?

Lucas and Origi were boss today.

Couldn't blame Moreno for that rush of blood to the head near the end. He hasn't had a sniff for a long time so when he's got some time on the pitch and there's no goalie in between the posts, he was bound to have a go. He should have passed it forward to Sturridge or Firmino, though.

So happy for us today. The pressure was on to win and we delivered. Get the F**k in!

Good win! Stoke and West Brom away. 2 games that given how we have played against the likes of them this season, you could expect us to end up losing or at least dropping some points.

As good as Can was, Lucas provided the base and defensive stability that allowed Can more freedom.
His reading of the game is second to none these days. A very intelligent player.

      Yeah sorry RK.

Totally agree that those who have said we struggle against the lesser teams under Klopp have been served up some humble pie in the last two games. Those are precisely the teams that we have struggled with for many years before JĆ¼rgen and it was a surprise to hear we'd never actually beaten a Pulis team away.

To produce the first win at this time was exactly what we needed, should give the lads a lot of confidence moving forward.

While I thought today was probably our toughest game out of the remaining 6 I actually think Palace at home could be the toughest of the final 5 now. While I can't stand Fat Sam it's fair to say he has them playing pretty well right now and with them still being in range of the drop they'll be all out to get something. Still think we'll beat them but after them I believe it gets easier, although it just looks like it's going to go all the way for top 4.

Yeah can totally understand anyone voting for him mate. To be fair I thought we had 5 great players today, Migs, Matip, Lucas, Can and Firmino.

Even though I voted for Bobby I am surprised to see Lucas so far behind to be fair. (MotM vote.)

I agree. In these matches we've lacked the 'streetwise' type of players who know that you're not going to be able to play the game on your own terms in the way we'd expect at Anfield. Lucas is better at dealing with those type of environments better than anyone else. And probably a solid argument for keeping him on for another year.

To beat Pulis teams and such you have to descend the levels and play them at their own game. You can't go to places like the Hawthorns and expect to play them off the park.
