Good battling win there from the redmen. Should of finished the game off with Moreno's chance. But all important 3 points. Not too sure about motm, but suppose could take a pick from Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Gini or Firmino.

No shout for Can? I thought he was excellent.

Nice to see that type of performance Liverpool, evidence hopefully that they are learning and 4-3s against Bournemouth will be a thing of the past. WBA however were a downright disgrace. All these PL teams have budgets pushing £100M and that negative inhibited style of football is the best they can put together? Got nothing less than they deserved today - they couldn't even get their long throw in routine in order.

That's the kiss of death for the next game then ;)

Seriously though, it was a sh*te game but they did the job and that's what's needed at this stage. Although we could use a large result to put some distance in our goal difference compared to United. I'd hate to lose out on 4th place on Goal Difference.

Did not watch the match, but from the highlights, we played decently.

Simon saved one on one situation and we had to chances to close the game before.

Well done Reds, nice little present for the 96.

Get Moreno in the bin immediately.

We're unbeaten when Matip & Lovren start together in the league. 8 wins and 6 draws.

I honestly, and I am being honest, don't understand how much hate Moreno is getting.

He made that chance himself, should've scored, didn't.

Milner missed too way before it and should've done better.

Bobby and Cou should've at least made the keeper work in the first half.

He's not the answer and, yes, should have scored. I just feel that if it was Lucas, or somebody, everybody would be just saying it was funny or something.

Pulis sending his goalie up, don't really see that in the league, that creepy sh*t Pulis was so desperate stop us taking the 3 pts.

The 'Moreno @ Liverpool' scrapbook got another entry. Not sure he'll want to flick thro it too often in his retirement.

We won, so water off a ducks back, he's gone come summer.  If WB had equalised tho, we'd be on page 30 of this thread, and much hair would be pulled out...

The thin about the Moreno miss was that he had a man in space either side free, but he was well within his rights to try it, he was probably just rusty.
Absolutely love getting the win over Pulis, I hate that pr**k!

At this stage I'll take any kind of win, but we thoroughly deserve that today, any other result would've been a travesty.

Brilliant reds!, bring on those palace buggers!

Nah I think anyone who fu**ed that up, granted he won the chance, would have been rightly criticised it's just with Moreno the level of criticism he gets does go way over the top. Thankfully he seems the kind of lad who could laugh off most things so I don't think it actually affects him too much but I get your point.

Unlike most though the most annoying thing from my perspective is I still think he has all the tools to make an absolutely top player apart from his brain.

Was thinking that myself mate. What's with the whole "we must not lose this!!!!" attitude? You don't see that everyday!

Goalkeepers typically go up when the team is desperate for that goal. Not normally in a regular 1-0 game without any cost to the losing team.

Whilst they are entitled to send their keeper up,i seen it as a case of not wanting us to get 3 points will be interesting to see if they do it next week if the situation arises ?thats why i wanted us to score on the break, just to say f@ck you lot for showing lack of respect  YNWA

Southampton are 4 poins behind them with 2 games in hand. They're fighting for their current position in the table.

Unbelievable isn't it? I understand football thrives on the many ways you can play it and by no means am I saying that all teams should be playing tiki take, gegenpressen or whatever. But Pulis is not tactical. It is cynical football that lacks thought or intelligence and insults players technical abilities and ambitions. The purpose of all his sides is to merely get to 40 points and stave off relegation. That's what passes off as success in his pathetic, xenophobic tinged world. He spent millions upon millions at Stoke and never achieved a top half finish. Mark Hughes, who is hardly Rinus Michels, goes in and achieves it in his first season. The prevailing attitude in English football that continues to pass off Pulis's cynical football is the same attitude that normalises the England national teams failures.

      Football for losers and lowlifes.

I still see it trying to f@ck us up for 3 points as them maintaining their position in table, they had 90 minutes to get all 3 points for their fans not try by sending a goalie up in the dying minutes, that is desperate tatics used by desperate clubs

I'm not surprised. Have you ever heard the recording they play of 'Glory Glory Man Utd' they play before the game, at half time and full time? They lap it up all the time.

What a bag of corporate commercialised cock.
