Live overdue, the man should have his own statue alongside Shanks. On that note, when are we getting The Shankly Kop, The Paisley and Fagen stands? 😀

Don't believe there's any one and I mean anyone in our history deserves it more, what Kenny has done for the club as player and manager is par for the course, but what he has done outside of the club for Liverpool aka attended every Hillsborough funeral etc etc makes it a befitting honour.

Id bet the king is embarrassed by this that's the kind of man he is. Hell tell us that there were others more deserving because he is so humble. I adore the man

Delighted by this, and to be fair I thought John Henry's statement about King Kenny was absolutely spot on. They get lots of flack, so let's give them credit when they do the rght thing!

Speaking to someone before and just to be cynical briefly they claimed it's a great touch by FSG, but at the same time they'll have to scrap the name Centenary from the stand so they can market the F**k out of the 125th anniversary.

Fantastic news is this and befits the legendary status Kenny has at the club.

Having been a youngster still at school during the 80's it was such an honour to actually be in the stands and cheer "Dalglish Dalglish Dalglish" from the crowd for a few seasons during his 2nd stint as Manager, it was surreal. I don't believe there is a former player/manager anywhere in the British game who is as loved and reverred in the way that Dalglish is at Liverpool FC. The fact that Kenny displayed not one drop of bitterness towards the club when FSG relieved him of his position and that he was back working with the club in an ambassadorial role within months says everything about the man.

The King Kenny Stand it is!

I only saw the back end of Dalglish the player 85/86 my first games at Anfield but as the song goes I'm honoured that I "watched the king Kenny play and could he play".

Still intrigues me how would we have done had Kenny not been sacked in 2012. I still think that was the wrong decision, Kenny is a winner that was slowly rubbing off on the squad.

Truly deserved, and means so much more than a poxy knighthood!

For such a legend to be so humble, with a wicked sense of humour, and possibly the most caring man on the planet for not only how he handled himself during the Hillsborough disaster with the families but also his charity work, his stepping up for the club when we needed him the most and countless other selfless deeds.

And also for one indirect act, my second oldest was born on the 4th March so he practically decided his name for me as well!

They should change the seat colours to look like Kenny's face from a distance.

Don't forget Joe Fagan he achieved wonders for us as a coach and manager.
                                  Back to Kenny Dalglish,thank God he was our BOSS when  Hillsborough  hit us.This club could of so easily folded at the time but thanks to Kenny it didn't.
