I wasn't taking THE piss, so much as I was taking A piss.

BTW, I'm with you that the remaining transfers all need to be concluded faster than this one was.

      Oh wait...

That's one hell of a botched photo shop attempt. If you look closely he's got two chins.

Why hasn't this been confirmed on the official website yet?!?!  FSG must be doing everything they can to sabotage this deal before it gets completed.....

How long does a medical normally take, I ask because I have no idea, but reading between the lines, this does seem unusually long!
I hope this isn't an indication that something's not right, because after the Van Diyk fiasco, things could get very unpleasant for John W and co!

Reading between what lines? Between the comments of a bunch of impatient people who just want to hear that we've signed somebody?

They will and were probably all along going to announce on Friday...are we  so sensitive as a supporter base that we are now timing medicals?

I heard through the grapevine that Salah spent an additional 12 minutes in the shi**er after eating a Kebab from Amalif that it slowed down the rectal exam and that is what's caused part of the delay.

Expect Firmino to get the #9 shirt, though I am surprised he gave up his number as he wears #11 for Brazil also.

Just a point Stuey and I don't know what you think? Being savvy business people I think Salah has probably cost somewhere in the region of 27 to 28m sterling. If you are dealing in Europe you would think a business would have a holding account, so on that basis how many euro's did FSG buy when the exchange rate was around the 1.40 mark which was not long ago. So if he has cost say 39m euro's and the tabloids are basing it on today's exchange rate of 1.14 ish hence the 34m sterling price then they are probably wrong. Just a thought.

The varying fee statements are as you point oùt directly attributable to the fluctuating Euro, from €1.18 quoted not too long ago to a figure of €1.04 to the pound earlier this week.
Anyone holidaying or planning to within the EU would be cursing their luck while FSG would hold off as long as poss chuckling as they watched the Euro tumble.
