Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Coutinho, Origi, Sturridge

Substitutes: Karius, Moreno, Grujic, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Klavan, Woodburn

Bit rushed, I'll add more as time goes on.

Would have liked to have seen Woodburn start instead of Origi, but glad to see Lallana in midfield and  Sturridge up front!

Feeling quite confident with this line up tbh.

I hope it's Danny and Divock as front two but it can be Danny as 9 and Divock on the right. Anyway 0-3 to the Reds, COYR :scarf:

That's a line up I'd like to have seen more of over the last year and a half. Should give us more attacking power than we've shown in the last few games.

Think Danny boy might just edge it for us. COYR!

I like the 2 upfront vs their back-3. Hopefully its a 4-4-2 diamond as Jürgen hinted Coutinho playing as an actual 10 instead of a wide 10 could be more effective. We got enough quality to control the midfield. Hope we create chances and more importantly, make them count.

That line-up doesn't inspire confidence to be honest. Watching Studge against Southampton you could see he was running out of steam after 20 minutes, god knows how he'll be over the 90. Let's get a few goals early so we need to worry less about that.

I do hope Origi is shifted wide left or part of a 2 up top because Sturridge is far more effective central than he is coming in from the right, don't like him there. Actually think Origi's best position could be wide left, he has a natural tendency to hit his shots with a high arc and from out there that's exactly the shot you need.

Losing Lucas is less of an issue than Bobby, think Can can do a fine job back there and hopefully move the base forward enough to get enough players between the lines. Above anything today we need movement from our creative players, Origi coming off the pitch with 7 passes or Gini with just 35 (barring injury) just wont be good enough, they have to make themselves available and the likes of Coutinho/Lallana will find them.

                   Migs

      Clyne Matip Lovren Milner

                    Can

       Wijnaldum Coutinho

      Lallana Sturridge Origi

Is the way I hope we set-up and if all else fails get young Trent on to bang in the winner! Come on!!!!

Hopefully this is more impressive than the results the last few times Sturridge has started.

Not overly optimistic without Firmino even though he has been off his form the past few games.  Don't let us down again lads.  3 points.

Think we have to go for it, and that's the team I'd have picked  (tbh, it almost picks itself apart from the Lucas selection q)
Good to see Klopp showing the intent that we want to go out there and create chances, to win.
Now its down to the players to go out and do the job.
Not a whole lot on the bench, so need to get quickly into a 2 goal lead :)
With Studge likely leaving in summer, we could really do with him repaying us for his bank balance. CMON tafuck Danny !

This is it. Make or break.

It's up to the players whether they want to be mixing it with Europes best next season.

Imagine having a 26 year old Gerrard in this team :)

Was just telling my mate this was the line up I'd like to see. This has gotta be the first time since January my team selection matches Klopp's :-)
This could go either of two ways. This offense has the potential for a heavy metal start and a couple first half goals. Or we may see that it takes these players time to get into gear as they figure out this new system. Hope for the former!
Come on Redmen, let's put a few past these and go into our final match with confidence and winning vibes!

Looks like a great ground, but as we know... it's not, as it's a bastardised athletics stadium.

Nerves well and truly taken over and the worst part is I won't be able to watch today. Probably won't be able to follow the match thread either. I guess I'll just check the score when it's over and hope for the best :(

If we stumble here, I don't even want to think about what this place will be like.

Lallana as wide forward right or left proved so far his lest effective hopefully Klopp won't put him there.
