Ya loving this formation suits the players we have and I feel it suits a high pressing game aswell.

Yeah, it's not going to work against every team but against teams that defend in high numbers it gives us far more mobility and penetration than we get without an out-and-out striker. I thought Firmino and Sturridge played well together today. This club has a strong and long tradition of strike partnerships. Hoping this can become the latest in a long line of them.

Good win in the end to finish the season though the first half was not great. Formation doesnt change much if we still don't move the ball quick enough.

Great goal from Gini, after that the game did open up for us and suddenly we were much better at finding the likes of Lallana and Bobby between the lines.

Phil got my motm, just edging out Gini imo. Ran the game, though Gini had a brilliant second half too.

Looking forward to seeing what happens in the summer, and onto next season. We are back where we belong!!

Fantastic! Just discovered it on twitter so we will miss Napoli, Sevilla and Dortmund.

Which is a shame because I would love to have had Sevilla and to have kicked their puny arses into the Europa League - where they belong (they'd be the first to admit it, don't worry).

What a great day to be at Anfield, dead nervous before the game and right up to when we got that first goal, I kept thinking, I just hope it's not going to be 'one of those days' the relief on the Kop when that goal hit the net was sweet as !!! we knew the scores at that point from Arsenal and City's games...pressure on big time !! I knew once the first one went in, the floodgates would open and it was only a matter of time before we got the second, the Norwegian fella next to me almost swept me off my feet, as he'd missed the first goal....beer far more important than seeing LFC score   

Second half was much more comfortable thankfully, and we could have had quite a few, but 3 did the trick and that's it for this season, happy to finish 4th and we can now concentrate on having a productive summer.

Onwards and upwards we go, Klopp has done a magnificent job with what he's had to work with, a few quality signings and a fully fit squad going into next season is mouth watering.....#wegoagain

You have to read the full set of comments. He basically was just saying that they know who they are after. He said decisions stillhave to be made and deals have to be done, but that he and Edwards won't be sitting down tomorrow to start talking about what the team needs - that part of it has been sorted.

Job done today, good win with some good goals too. Gini's came just at the right time too as the crowd were just starting to get restless before half-time and it settled everyone down.

Hopefully now Klopp can get the players he wants and we can really push on next season.

Also have to say from my spec the new kit looks a very, very dark red almost burgundy colour.

I liked it a lot, it reminded me of the days when Souness, Dalglish and co were playing in europe, going forward it was like watching the old days!

However that may be more to do with our old crap TV rather than the strip itself!

I remember there being an image floating around of a Liverpool fan wearing a Balotelli shirt years ago (well before he joined) on a bus. I also remember when I was at school and it was between Man United & PSG as to who would sign Ronaldinho, a lad in the year above decided it'd be clever to go and get Ronaldinho's name on the back of his new United shirt only for him to then go and sign with PSG His mum went mental at him when she found out.

I don't know why some fans waste their hard earned money on stupid sh*t like that.
