      Really hoping this move is to replace coutinho next year (Not that I want him to leave). Lemar is brought in THIS year to play alongside coutinho. And Can still keeps his place. Would be gutted if this is to replace Can.

      Give me Lemar, Couti, Can in midfield this year. Next year...Keita, Lemar, Can.

      Would be a good bit of proactive business by FSG.

      My understanding is that his release clause will only be activated next season. So we've done the deal now to make sure he'll be ours when that happens.

      Well f*ck me I didn't see that one coming. Thought it was more wummery from ITKs!

      I'm absolutely overjoyed we've done the deal. This is a big, big step in the right direction for our future, as I can see him being our mainstay in CM for years to come. Brilliant news only tinged by the wait! (Just have to make sure we sign Lemar then)

      Sensible compromise. Good business finally being done. It would make this extra worthwhile if we could now go and sign Lemar and a CB.

      Excellent stuff to get this done now.

      Guessing medical was done now so he can sign the deal and ratify the agreement.

      Now get Lemar, a CB and keep Phil and we're winning everything.

      Well we have next Summers replacement for Coutinho...well in for that...I'd be happy if we just nabble VVD and the window shuts...we really need a CB.

      That premium is us basically saying 'we know this guy is the absolute dogs bollox and that Bayern/Barca/Real/PSG/City/Chelsea will all be circling next summer so here's an extra £20m to f*ck them all off and do a deal now".
