Alonso is out, shitty Honda engine again.
So close too.
We don't need another misfiring Honda engine to prove to us that he was the class of the field out there. Bar a bad restart where he got bogged down amongst some also rans he was faultless. Fastest average lap as well.
Come on Vettel, Hamilton, Verstappen and co...prove yourself in this race like Alonso has!
When he's trundling around at the back of the f1 field in a sh*t car it's often easy to forget how brilliant he is. The ease with which he transferred his f1 brilliance to Indy has probably led me to believe that he really is the best driver in the world. I sincerely hope other f1 drivers follow his example. They'll be letting themselves down if they don't.
Now hoping for Takuma Sato to do the business for the rest of the race! Come on Taku!
