I think Paul is a decent judge of player.

Sounds like we might have a player on our hands.

So this guy is 19, 6"1, strong, quick, technical and physical, and knows where the goal is.

      Sounds good to me.

Interesting in that Chelsea did want to keep him, but he supposedly left because there was no real clear path of progressing into the first team, perhaps seeing Jürgen giving the younger fellas a chance made it seem like coming here was beneficial to his future.

Looks impressive, even though he missed I loved the power and arc he got on the shot.

Agreed, a lot of talk about them wanting to keep him.

That's a £20 million profit for them in a few years, I bet they're thinking.

F**k trophies, lets maximise profit from youngsters, eh FSG?

I'd rather him grow into a legend here. I think profits should be won by winning Trophies not by selling players. I suppose that is why there are so many people against FSG.

Certainly had a fine game in the semi-final. Looks like a tidy player who can strike a ball based on what I've seen of him during this tournament.

Please tell me we have actually signed him and completed the paperwork because if we haven't, they are going to ask for another 30 million pounds, knowing our luck!!!!

They can ask for a billion and it won't matter. He's out of contract ;)

The FA committee will decide it. In the media, it is said around 3M. I would give up to 6M for sure.

This lad goes straight into the senior squad for me.

      Looks mature beyond his age.

He did have a very good semi final, however !! I think Stevie might have to instil in him the "grafting" ethics of a Liverpool player.
Probably might get "slaughtered" on here but he reminds me of Studge (bit on the lazy side)Hope I'm wrong.
      Welcome to LFC Dominic..

Yes, I suppose you are right.. we need to ensure he becomes a Firmino and not a world class Sturridge. ;)

      All about the graft.

In the first quarter of the WC final, he had two shots that could have done much better in. Come on Dominic.

Just tuned in at half time. Does he look like a player Klopp could have fun developing?

Yes, he is willing to track back and I think he has potential. He has strong presence as well.
