Lallana, Origi, Shaqiri are forward back ups. Although I'd rather get rid of Solanke after FA cup games though and not before.

How on earth did we get 19mil?
he's 20 and an U20 WC winner. He was fantastic in that tournament as well. He has the potential to be the best in the league in a team that nurtures his talent correctly. He's not going to get that here. If he gets good I can imagine them doubling or tripling their money on him.

Couldn't agree more. He has huge potential. I'm gonna throw it out here, I think he will be a regular premier league goal scorer and eventually earn himself a move back to a bigger club (CL quality side).

Yea, all the best to Solanke, hope he does well.
At least he'll get some game time, though they have options there he'll have to compete with.
Would never have thought we'd get 19mill, more even than Ibe - so more good business.
Don't personally see him becoming a regular striker at a big side, but maybe can make a mark at this sized club.
Either way, good luck to him..

Apparently there is. Probably be a sell on percentage clause too.

Stunned weve sold rather then loaned. Massive potential in the lad.

To be honest, quite shocking that it is a permament move. Best of luck.

I feel with Klopp starting to play Salah centre of the attack that it knocks him down another spot on the depth chart which allow us to make this move. Only a string of injuries would really be the only hope for him to get minutes with the first team. It goes to show for any young player who is at a top level club you only get a small window to show your worth, he got some playing time last season with Sturridge being hurt and then loan out but never seized the chance. We got good amount of money for him which is always nice to see and good luck to Dom

I'm surprised to read this as well after getting home from work.

Obviously Jürgen didn't see much in him and you have to be real top quality to get noticed as a forward at the club right now.

Massive potential?? Not in the games I've seen, he's bang average and £19m is almost daylight robbery, thanks Bournemouth, do you perhaps also need a LB?

I'm not convinced there is massive potential there Bri.

Decent Premier League player maybe but not top level.

I think Solanke is good at breaking into spaces, but his finish lacks composure.
His first touches are a bit heavy as well.
If he gets past those issues he will be a good striker.
He is only 20, so I think he will improve.
Would not have happened here, so the move makes sense for Solanke.
The fee is reasonable because with a few tweaks and after a season or two, his value could easily double.
