Got to admit never heard of him.http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40184515Probably more of a hurry up to Roma.
But this guy has a release clause of £50 mill.So how can he be an alternative??
Must be a bluff to get the Salah deal done. Why would we pay more, or at least the same, for a much less proven player?
I don't think we would activate the clause to sign him. I don't know him but I think Salah is a better option given his experience and stats.
My personal choice for players we are linked with for this position;1) Costa2) Salah3) Martins
I know this seems like a clever negotiating strategy but by christ it also looks like absolutely peak Liverpool transfer incompetence!
Costa is a 4 goal a year player..that's it; if we want a guaranteed 4 goals he would be our man
I think it's 45M Euro's.
40 million British Sterling? Is that right?
There's no way we pay £40m for this guy from the Portuguese league if we won't offer less for Salah.
I am wondering whether we are after both Salah and Martins, the latter an alternative to Keita. From clips I have seen of him, his style of play would make him a good/ dynamic midfielder with an eye for a pass... just saying...
