That was quite a match. The shameless 'Wenger Out' crowd will have to hold their tongue for now.

I think Solanke can do a job for us not too dissimilar to what Giroud did there. Got a long way to go still but he can do that I'm sure.

Yep, was midering about him a few years ago.

Was kinda hoping he'd flop with the 'new league' curse or something but he looked easily the best player on the pitch unfortunately.

There's a lot to be said for keeping your best players on the bench and then introducing them in the second half to really disrupt the rhythm and win the game there and then when opposition players tire and your best are fully fresh. Worked for Jürgen against Stoke when he brought Firmino and Coutinho on. Of course it means keeping the match close when you get to that pivot point point but it can really upset the opposition. I wonder why managers don't do it more.

I think he'll score a shed load this season.

      Potential top league goal scorer.

Now a third! I'll take our point away at Watford compared to a thrashing at home.

Look at the gap in depth between us and City - they've got Mendy and Gundogan injured yet have a bench of Yaya Toure, Bernardo Silva, Sterling and Sane.

They also an average nett spend quadruple the size of ours over the last 7 seasons.
