How can lowly Huddersfield not just score but beat the Mancs and we couldn't break them down?

Without seeing the game I'd guess Mourinho was arrogant enough to think they'd win that one so didn't set up for the 'defensive masterclass' he had in mind for us.

100%  agreed, they think they are the "invincible 2", just need to show up and win, eh.  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

If Alli finished that chance it would have been goal of the season.

Spurs could easily have United here but looks like they don’t believe that.

United were still the better team and deserved the win. Still can't see passed City though.

There was very little between the two sides a draw would have been a fair result.

If Kane started that game I think Spurs win.

No mate i thought we were always on top though. Spurs only had Kane out, United had 3/4 out. Still think the same result if both teams were at full strength.

Don't agree, especially when you consider if Kane is playing and gets the chance Alli did, then you are 1-0 down. You were missing midfielders, you had your main attacking players but its now what, a 6th consecutive appearance with Lukaku not getting on the score sheet?

Granted United have some injuries but none of them missing players play as an important role as what Kane does. They aren't players that make you think "F**k, we could be in trouble without them". Where as with Kane you get that feeling because he can score from anywhere and from anything.

If both teams were at full strength as you say then Jose would have well and truly parked the bus like he does against us because a lethal attack/lethal player in attack terrifies him. Kane plays and you spend most the game in your own half with Spurs likely nicking the win.

You never agree anyway  :D Spurs had ONE! chance through Ali and that was it. We had many more chances.  Kane in the side would of been more interesting but he wasn't. That's part and parcel of football.

Ive always said Lukaku goes idol, nothing changed there and that's with two up front. Was nice to see Mourinho not parking the bus like he did against you lads (( big mistake ))

Its  easy too say if Kane plays! he didn't.. (( get over it ))  I could say the same about our players missing.  Granted no one in the same league as Kane but injuries part of our game.

      ;)

Morata reminds me of Torres when he first came to us, except a sh*t version. Could have had a ha trick today already but still 0-0, one of which was on a plate after Begovic gifted the ball away

City 5 clear and the gap will only get bigger.

Massive gap between them and the rest.

Amazing what happens when 2 teams finish close to each other and then 1 goes
and spends hundreds of millions dealing with an issue both teams had.

      Burnley 0-0 Newcastle

Newcastle have conceded just one first half goal in their last 13 Premier League games. That is impressive, you have to say.

Reading a lot of criticism with regards to this match - boring, dull, 'everything that's wrong with English football' etc.

But what do you expect? If you're not part of the top 6 'elite' then it forces clubs to play in survival mode especially two clubs like Burnley and Newcastle who are not exactly endowed with financial might.

Man Utd on the other hand...

Surely West Ham have greater self respect than that?

Great to see the West Brom faithful piling in on Pulis. Time to banish that dinosaur for ever.
