Don't think Chelsea were anywhere as good as some are saying, this Barcelona is far more structured and cautious and much better defensively.  Valverde needs to be more flexible and coutinho and dembele's flair is much needed

Have to say, Kante is world class. Him and and Klopp would have been a match made in heaven.

Don't get the hype, he is very good at what he does but way overhyped

Same, if Jose was still at Chelsea it would be a different story, but I actually think that Conte dislikes Jose just as much as we do.. Chelsea never liked Barca either so when it comes to Europe. They are the lesser of the evils I think.

The only problem with wanting rival English teams to do badly is if that really happened, top four would become top 3 for CL qualification eventually.

No it wouldn't,  coefficient has been got rid off so top four in england, spain etc are guaranteed, uefa bowed to pressure from the clubs

yes it does, it has everything to do with it. Each member association gets points based on their teams success and FA almost got downed to 3 teams instead of top 4 not so long ago, That was the year we were in Europa League final.

It affects upto 2021. If English teams did badly, by 2022 it wouldn't be the same.

Money counts and the clubs in the big leagues will ensure it continues, anway finishing in the top 3 should be an incentive to avoid play offs anyway

Helps if you being run ragged on the counter, just a shame Chelsea were not clinical.

Some bad f**king defending by Chelsea then. Typical finish from Messi.

Got me thinking a bit actually because I’ve not actually seen any of the game. What is a typical finish from Messi? A chip over the keeper, beating about 6/7 players before beating the keeper, placement from distance?

Top 4 go straight into the group stage anyway from next season.

Chelsea were the better side but hardly ran Barcelona ragged. Willian apart neither side created much and neither keeper had to make a decent save

Never thought i'd see a better goal keeper in my life time at United than Schmeichel but this lad is better. Should be 2-0 down now. Best Goalkeeper in the world.

Don't think there's a player more important to a team than De Gea to United.

Mental the number of crucial saves he makes.
