Yeah, his 39th goal of the season? That's just sickening after such a poor start to the season where Barca fans were taking the piss into him and bragging how Paulinho has more goals than him..... lmao. He is the most clinical footballer ever!

I must have been watch a different game... thought Juv' were all over Real after the first goal and were unlucky not to score twice (Dybala and Chiellini), Mistake by Chiellini lead to the second, and Dybala's sending off gifted Real the third and the game
On the night things just fell right for Real... Juve' out played them
Both Higuain, and Khedira were massive...

If we get pass City and face Real we can do them.uve' would have been a lot harder to beat from what I saw

I thought the same, especially in the first half, Juve looked the better team but Real are just clinical.

Agreed, no one else comes close to their longevity or ability to continue to find new ways to amaze even after all these years.

That Ronaldo goal, in terms of pure technique, is one of the best I’ve ever seen and will see in a very long time I’m sure.

The "yeah but have they done it in a World Cup?"  etc, etc, argument always annoys me, too.

They do it year in, year out in the Champions League which, for me, supersedes the international tournaments that come around every couple of years.

I remember watching this live on the telly. Barca had to win to get top 4 and rivaldo did this in the dying seconds!

The best overhead kick is and always will be Trevor Sinclair for QPR.

Yeah their statistics are pretty impressive, however this is most likely down to the amount of investment in their respective teams. I mean in reality they don't play many games in a year really given the gulf in resources between them and the rest of the teams. Juventus is easily the richest team in Italy and has one 6 on the spin in Italy, similarly for Bayern in Germany. PSG in France. Now City in UK I mean racking up victories when you are easily going to beat most teams is no victory really.

As for the world cup v the Champions League. People saying the CL is harder. The difference is Portugal and Argentina can't import any player they want to help their stars.

No for me unless you have dragged your team totheir only 2 Scudetto's ever in the toughest league of all time against richer clubs like Milan (who could easily be considered the greatest club team ever) and Juve and Inter. Whilst also having won a World Cup with nowhere near a squad of the quality of Brazil or France or Germany amongst others, and when everything rested on your shoulders. As for Higlights films well I don't think Ronaldo's highlights film compares to Diego's. Messi's comes a little closer but unfortunately it's a little the same, full of rehearsed moves with that wonderful 2009-12 Barca team. MAradona never had such luxury and he never disappointed.

Ronaldo on the other hand, just look at the teams he is in. Same with Messi. One thing about Ronaldo is he keeps defying age ..... almost miraculously?

That goal was absolutely beautiful. The ball was actually moving AWAY toward the centerline. I loved the Juve back, he just put it his arms out and said.."what can you do?" Buffon didnt even move. I think he knew that was the greatest goal scored against him. He just stood there looking like someone stole his shoes.

Do people think UEFA prefer a Zizou vs Guardiola - 1st to 3 CL medals or Messi v Ronaldo - first to 6 Balon  DÓr trophies. It's like a soap opera or WWF. Does anyone think there is more than financial doping going on?

I bet you believe 9/11 was an inside job, JFK was shot by the CIA, chem trails are real and ISIS was created by the US government.

Certainly right on one of them but just my opinion.  For fear of going right off topic I shall decline to answer this one.   ;D

For as good as Ronaldo & Messi are would still of loved to see them both do it in the Premier League. I still thinks it's harder to score that many goals on a regular basis in our league. Ronaldo didn't stay long enough when at Man U.

Goal was no better than what Emre scored last season, now long forgotten.
But of course because it was Ronaldo the press will be jizzing over the greatest ever goal scored!!

Not taking anything off Emre goals as that was world class too. However, Ronaldo got a lot more height on this one that makes it look even harder to do. That and the fact this was a bigger game is why players/fans/media would say its better.

      Nope it’s because it’s Ronaldo.

Different rules apply to Ronaldo and Messi, these two are not mere mortals, didn’t you know  ;)
