      Nope itā€™s because itā€™s Ronaldo.

Different rules apply to Ronaldo and Messi, these two are not mere mortals, didnā€™t you know  ;)

Well they're 2 of  the best players in the world. More take notice when it comes from the best so you can argue a point.

Goal was no better than what Emre scored last season, now long forgotten.
But of course because it was Ronaldo the press will be jizzing over the greatest ever goal scored!!
      Oh boy.

He did that in a Championā€™s League Quarterfinal game against one of the best (if not the best) defensive teams in the world. Iā€™d say itā€™s a better goal, at least more important.

Give the guy his due, heā€™s pretty good at football.

Very hard to knock great football mate. When Salah ran rings round the Watford..(( yes granted it was only Watford ))... defence the other week you can only admire the quality of his dribbling skills. Simply world class which is what i like watching...

Yep. Seen it done before and in some cases in better fashion like Ibra's goal against England (and Can's against Watford). Besides, I've seen Ronaldo score better goals for Man Utd like his free kick against Portsmouth 10 years back. Sensational dip and speed on that one.

Itā€™s just a overhead/bicycle kick, call it what you want. Not sure what makes it better than any of the others you see every season.

Never said he was sh*te but anything he and Messi do just get so over blown was my point.

      Everyone to themselves I suppose.

2.38m was the height of the ball when it connected with Ronaldo's foot.

I bet you believe 9/11 was an inside job, JFK was shot by the CIA, chem trails are real and ISIS was created by the US government.

      Am I right?

I don't 'believe' anything, hard facts are the deciding factor. You can't get those from Google, Wikipedia or 'Official Sources'.

I like Chamberlain's goal better than Ronaldo's, not just because it was a Liverpool goal but just I prefer a shot from outside the box than an overhead kick.

That just doesn't make sense  ??? The Amount of goals scored outside the box are in thousands. Rose tinted glasses  ;D

Even Ibra's goal on the weekend was better (for me at least). Not saying it wasn't a good goal, just that I've seen better goals.

      Anyway, just my opinion.

Incredible victory by Roma. A truly special club back to the heights of European football. Make no mistake - no one will want to draw this club after that victory because they will believe it's their destiny from this moment on, as we can testify on previous occasions.

Pleased for Roma and glad to see the like's of entitled cu*ts like Pique, Busquets, Alba and to a degree Messi get their just desserts.

Donā€™t want Roma in the semis. Let them take care of Real. We knock at Bayern and then beat Roma in the final at a neutral ground.
