Roma's victory must be one of the greatest Champions League results ever on one of the greatest nights in the competition's history. They were done over by corrupt refereeing in favour of Barca yet again (where have we heard that one before?) in the first leg and understandably no one gave them a chance. But that noise, that atmosphere and those images from the Stadio Olimpico last night were incredible and to do it against that crime syndicate that is Barcelona makes it all the more sweeter. Italian club football hasn't had much to shout about in recent years but that must be it's greatest moment in a long time. Probably the only set of fans in the world happier than us lot last night.

I wouldn't be too keen on coming up against this Roma side after that but they and us have earned the right to go to the very top in this competition. Us taking down the oil and blood stained money of Man City and Roma taking down the crime syndicate gang thugs of Barcelona. Last night definitely restored a little bit of faith in football.

Watched the first leg and the referee had nothing to do with the result, just bad luck for the oggies and poor finishing by roma. A bit ironic to talk about corruption and Italian football in the same sentence . if you are talking about the dzeko 'penalty' then it was rubbished by all the pundits. Of the teams left roma are the one i would want in the semis as they have areas that we can exploit such as fazio etc.

Sevilla more than matching Bayern (maybe slightly the better team) away. I'd rather we play Bayern than Sevilla if they go through.
