Some will only realise how good he is when he's gone.

They will probably have moved their criticism on to Mane by then.

Mo's stats are through the roof consistently for the last four seasons and higher than Sadio's in every area apart from dribbles.

      Show them, then.

Sadio vs Mo is an interesting debate, luckily we don’t have to really partake because we get to have both. They each bring unique things to the table. I’d hate to lose either of them.

Here are the shots/goals so far this season, one big factor here is that Mo has scored a lot of penalties

                 shots   goals   ratio
      mo            52           13       0.25
      sadio           44           6         0.13
      bobby   35           5         0.14
      Diogo   20           5         0.25

So taking penalties out of the equation it is clear to see we are missing Diogo's goals and also Mane needs to click back into gear

Another interesting stat is Big Chances missed, no idea how that is calculated:
      Roberto Firmino - 7

      Sadio Mané - 6

      Mohamed Salah - 4

      Jordan Henderson - 2

      Diogo Jota - 2

That is a LOT of chances missed by our front three!

Diogo is hugely missed as he's output for a new signing was exceptional before his injury.

Mo has scored 5 penos out of his 13 PL goals so still scoring more than Mane in open play.

Sure he doesn't put everything away but without Mo we'd be in big trouble now.

It's actually Mane and Bobby who are underperforming significantly in comparison.

I would imagine in today's stat-driven world there would be better stats than just shots.

Sadio has scored 6 in 44 so 13.6%. Salah has scored 8 in 47, so 17.0%. Obviously better but not hugely when you consider Salah is the one we mostly center the offense around and put in the best position to score.

If you take out the penalties then Mo drops to a ratio of 0.15, only slightly better than Bobby and Sadio, its a big problem for us, how many missed chances we have.

I agree completely we are missing too many chances.

My point is that it's not down to Mo as Mane and Bobby are missing more chances and are less productive.

Compare them yourself it's not that hard.

Mo's attacking stats are better in every area apart from dribbling.

Mane is obviously superior defensively as we all know.

Actually it is just like Mo, he is incredibly wasteful in front of goal, its why I struggle to call him world class, yes he can score some sublime goals and his movement and runs are beautiful but how often does he dribble past someone or play cute 1-2's with Mane or Bobby, his decision making is seriously suspect at times and in all honesty if we got a good replacement then I would not shed too many tears at losing him.

Quite often these days I almost groan when he gets the ball instead of Mane as I reckon its 50-50 whether he scores or not.

I'd be gutted if he left. The Guy is a Superstar and he's our Superstar. He may run into dead ends quite a lot but I F***ing love him and you just know he could go on a goal scoring rampage at any time. Truly World Class for me and I don't want to see him go anywhere!

Once the ball starts rolling his way, Mo will start banging them in left right and centre for sure !

I do agree but they all need to find some form and soon and please please start taking some shots from outside the box, far to often we try to walk the ball into the net, our attacking play needs more variation and we have to stop being so reliant on the full backs, we have become quite predictable lately.

13 goals in the PL so far yet we'll still get the same old crazy talk from some people as soon as he goes two games without scoring.
      Exactly 2 games without scoring...

      https://one-versus-one.com/en/compare-players/Mohamed-Salah-vs-Kylian-Mbappe

According to these stats he is the 2nd best forward in Europe for those that don't appreciate some of the mesmerizing talent we have in our team.   And Salah is one of them.  So is Mane just a little out of tune at this very moment but still a monster.
