If you watch the All or None documentary with Tottenham he tries to be a leader...I don't think he's a good one at all, but he did seem to be vocal in the locker room and such.

He is a clown, I was merely making the point that there are strikers that are voted Captains, even at bigger clubs. I don't think position has as much to do with it as respect of your teammates and your standing within the clubs starting 11.

To be fair, would you follow someone that tries to 'steal' a goal from one of his teammates? That's not how a captain should behave and it cannot have gone down too well in their dressing room.

Understand Lallanas point but we simply cannot replace Salah at the moment, even more so when it seems he's very happy to stay here.

If Salah is asking for that money then it’s not going to happen - and he will be sold and then replaced

You can get around to some extent by offering a generous signing bonus.

Aye it was a great pen, Martinez guesses right and isn’t far from making the save so it had to be right in the corner. Soft pen for me but I guess you’d call it clever play in the modern game.

just looked over the first few pages and it was all very positive back in 2017. Even so I dont think any of us realised what was to come and just how good he would be. Would we have also won the 2018 CL if he had stayed on the pitch I think we would .
