He's been off form for a while but he is still working hard enough and obviously he has the class to come good at any time. Jürgen will start him for sure in the FA cup final because of that, and also because we need to rotate anyway, just to try and keep players fresh enough to put the yards in. (Hopefully Bobby can get some game time in the final as well, for the same reason.)

what did you see in Mo tonight that would make Jürgen start him his touch was awful he looked leggy and didnt do the tracking back he always used to.

He's not going to picked on the basis of what he did tonight, but because he only played a few minutes tonight so will be relatively rested, unlike Sadio, Jota or Diaz (starting him in the final is probably why Jürgen rested him tonight in the first place), and because he is our biggest goal threat, has been every season since he arrived, and a few weeks of poor form isn't going to change that in Jürgen's mind. I'd be amazed if he doesn't start.

Its May mate not February or early March its now months not weeks. Mane is our biggest goal threat this year 12 to Mo's 7 including his penalties. Jürgen will not pick him on emotion if he shows in training he will pick him but Sadio and Luis are nailed on.
Mo has played 23 or 24 games for us in all Comps this year and scored in 6 games that is way off his best a shadow of his former self.
I wouldn't risk playing him over Luis and if Bobby is Fit he may get the nod.

Klopp will continue to to pick Salah for the same reason he picked Mane when he wasn't in good form. He has trust in both these players playing themselves back into form as these are the guys he rode to get us to this position.

Don't expect an out of form Jota or Bobby who hasn't played much over past few months to start over Salah.

Bar injury I expect Salah to start every game from FA Cup final to Champions League final.

He will defo play in the finals. His standards are so high that when he has a dip it is more noticeable but to me he looks desperate get in on the goals and saying drop Mo in the absolute most important games of our season which he will be hugely motivated to win is not far off saying drop Stevie in years gone by in the sense that he is when all is said and done our best player who has won major trophies before with us. He starts all and every day when it comes to major finals.

Think he touched the ball 4 or 5 times today and gave it away just as much.

7 goals this year mate and he has had man for man marking for the past 5 years he doesnt deserve a starting spot. Sadio is my favourite player because of his energy and his total commitment to the team.

he's fu**ed mate mentally and physically the difference between Sadio and Mo is Sadio won the Afcon and got to the WC so his mood is quite different to Mo's although probably physically similar. Jürgen mentioned it about Sadio having miles in his legs.
Mo is quality but not a machine he will be back to his very best next season but you can only go to the well so many times .

he was on the beach all last season he still looks fresh after that sprint to catch Couthino he has energy to burn.

Woof. Some really crazy hot takes in here regarding Mo. class is permanent and he still oozes it. No way can we afford to have him on the bench. He may not be scoring buckets right now but the amount of attention he is garnering makes other people’s job much easier.

He’ll score in the final, against his old club, and he’ll never stop scoring/assisting until the end of the season………… please.

I think he is a starter because Jürgen is loyal to players who have done it for him but dont expect to see him for 90 mins if he isnt doing it in the Cup final.
Fortunately Jürgen is a better judge of players than we are so he will pick a team to win. Can't wait actually for tonights game City will have had the Champagne on ice last night and out of the fridge when Moss gifted Villa that goal

Dude leads in scoring and assist. He garners attention at all times and even in his funk he creates holes in the defence with his presence. Some of yall may think he's slipping, but opposing defences don't. He's constantly getting double teamed, and that opens opportunities elsewhere.

Don't want to bash Salah, and I could not, but I have to admit that he's not the one lifting the teal right now. Mane's the man. His drop of form since January is clear to see and although it's harsh, when you are competing against ManCity in finale games of the season, it is fatal.

Mo is am excellent player and hope he signs the deal soon. He will get back his form after the break as he has lost the final and got knocked out of the world Cup in quick succession. That surely must be playing on his mind.

But I do want him to shut the F**k up and not talk about revenge, being the best etc..
