I think international break or no international break they'd be doing what they're doing mate.

Klopp said he won't be sold. I'm 100% confident that he won't be and I'm 100% he's happy here and wants to play in the big league whilst he's at the top of his game.

I don't think he'll be sold mate but the reason I mention the international break as I did in his transfer thread is it's the one time he's away from the club so non-Liverpool people can get into his ear and start trying to turn his head.

At least when he's at the club, he's got people around him who want nothing but him to stay.

300m all upfront ... and a signed agreement they don't come back for any of our players in the next 3 years ala michael edwards and barca. I'd give that a few seconds thought. And then say no.

We need to challenge this season and get back in the CL. Selling one of the best players in the world, our best and most productive and consistent player isn't the way to do that.

It's a no brainer to keep him. The money will be on the table again in the the summer. Its upto salah then if he wants to compete in the CL and for the top prizes in the game in the best league or retire to pensioners league that nobody is arsed about.

He won't be going anywhere this week and I'm 100% certain of that.

300M will not be up for grabs next season, there is no situation where we keep Salah and I won't be happy, so it's a win-win for me, I would only consider selling him if we could never get that type of money again and something like 300M I don't think we could ever get again.

Do you trust us to spend the £300 properly?

I just can’t see it, if somehow we were able to confirm Mbappe as part of the deal then yes of course - but there is no way that will happen.

Salah has had a goal involvement every game for like a year now, it would be devastating to lose him.

I mean, our midfield signings so far have been really good business in my eyes.

I think we have enough already up top that with the right signings from the 300M it could work but I am the first person that actually wants him to stay not that it sounds like it but just playing devils advocate.

I have no doubt that we would spend £300mil properly

But imo he won’t be going anywhere this year

Next summer is a different situation and think the club will sell for between £100 and 150mil and then use that to bring in a couple of players and strengthen the squad

I still say Salah doesnt want to go anyway. so its all BS.

He wants to play at the top level for many more years.

And win more trophys at the top level.

He will be playing well into his late 30s so has plenty time.

The trick will be next summer, if we get similar offers earlier in the window, will the club decide to take the money, but they cant force a player out either if he wants to stay.

There's no guarantee that the Saudi league will sustain or even survive, it might well be this is the zenith of player recruitment.
Will Mo feel he's got plenty of time?...Only he knows....It doesn't feel to me like he's about to go.

Aye but plenty will be on the table next summer. At least 150m. Maybe more.

But ultimately as I said previously ... its upto salah in the summer. Providing we get there will he give up the CL which he loves playing in plus give up the chance to challenge in the best league whilst he's still at the peak of his game? I don't think he'd give that up.

When he's past his best ... there will be plenty to made in Saudi and I think he knows that. He's a top player performing at top level for one of the top 3 clubs in the world.

He adds nothing to his legacy in Saudi. But he can here.

As I said all summer long ... he should be the captain of this football club. He deserves it. He's our most important player

Pretty much where I sit mate. 500m all upfront plus a signed agreement they dont approach any of our players for 3 years, and I'd seriously consider it then.

FSG be after a signed agreement they'll continue signing some more of our players for years to come at these prices.

Like us with Caicedo think this is PR stuff now rather than reality.

It's not easy trying to digest this whole episode. The money is frankly insane, these figures are mind-blowing. He's the highest profile player ever from the Arab world, and so his value to the Saudi league is off the charts, there is no figure they can't afford to pay. LFC legacy?...As a player that is cemented and secure no matter what he does...his impact at the club has been, and still is remarkable. His ambitions in terms of playing at a competitive level and winning more honours...Who knows? ...He's won plenty and I suspect we exaggerate his desire, or need for more....it fits with what we want.
The Saudi league is at best an experiment at present, there is no history, no heritage to the clubs, therefore there is no real fanbase. There are many factors which will determine if it succeeds...Will the public stay engaged?...develop club identity...develop their own players?
      Lots of known unknowns there.

He’s right that’s it’s good money but isn’t taking as if we are a threat

Him and others are not realising with salah we could fight for the title imo

Even next year I expect him to be at the same level

      BUT

Even I know when it comes to football squad planning, thinking medium and long term is the best way, when we don’t do that we get the cm issue of last season

Salah is 32 next year and has a year left

We will get 120-150m, I would say closer to 150m

      Thiago and Matip and going

We also have our own transfer budget, say it’s 75m and we will have Thiago and salah off our wage books and hopefully cl (matip I assume isn’t in much compared to our top )

      That gives 3 key players

Right winger- youngster as I want the other 4 to be the main attackers and step up

With Thiago going, I believe we got his replacement this season, so a top top class number 6

And a top cb, maybe even a second cb who we could loan back to the club

Our midfield and attack are 95 percent sorted for 6-7 seasons, we just need to finish the rest and salah, we have to cash in next year imo

No no, it was serious, remember the man in charge who says yes to transfers I believed has moved to France or somewhere else in Europe to make it easier to negotiate

Salah would be the face of their new football order and for people to think the Saudi won’t exist next year seem to be in a bubble

They have unlimited funds, the oil companies for example are all state owned to they get the profits, they were not stupid enough like us who sold off their national assets for a quick buck (see our water system making billions now for people on other countries)

Think golf, boxing and even tennis, they are here to stay

Salah is bigger than Ronaldo name wise, think of it that way

Next year we will get a very good fee for him that could be reinvested into the club to keep us competitive with the rest

This has helped us, think about it, hendo and fab, no way were we getting like 50-55m for them, now we manage to bring in a young cm for the next 10 years probably

We don’t have the financial power of Chelsea, Arsenal, United or city, but now we can also get extra funds in which they won’t benefit from as much as they already have the funds to compete with them

People should always think long term imo

Salah most likely in 2-3 years would leave on free, now we get 120-150m of money we would not normally get to buy the next salah so to speak and buy a midfield player and possible a cb if not with that money but with our existing budget

We have history of reinvesting well, the pip funds to barcelona helped us buy the best goal
Keeper on the world, I don’t think we would have gotten him otherwise and maybe salah even

If we could do the same with the salah funds, this is our rise again

I'd offer Salah a new contract.

If he's off this will be Coutinho 2.0.
Szoboszlai / Elliott will move to RW.
A DM and a CB are signed with the funds from Salah.

      You won't replace Salah directly.
