Yeah... but my feeling is Mo will want to leave this year and I cba with the slagging off he will get if he does.

I sort of believe that as well. If he goes in the summer then that's fine by me. He's done everything and so much more for us. It is a complete, total career at Liverpool. The same goes for the likes of Robbo, Virgil, Ali. If they wanted to leave then so be it. Careers fulfilled.   I suspect they've all had musings about when they could leave since Jürgen announced he was stepping down. If they want to go, let them go.

When it does happen, it's up to us and the new manager to dream it all up again.

This right now ... is as good as its getting in their career. They are playing at the top for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Its only down from here.

I guarantee you Salah is worth more that 75 million in ticket sales, shirt / merch sales, Tv coverage and general interest for the club overall.

Plus we would have to spend 75 million to replace him. It just doesn't make sense. All round, unless he is pushing to leave.

I tend to agree, fortunately quite a few now realising apart from the money it’s not all cracked up what they thought it would be.

How does the team improve? A replacement would cost that 75m and would likely be a downgrade from Salah.

What we need to do is be aggressive in the market and move on one of Diaz/Nunez/Gakpo and sign Salah's successor whilst Mo is still here.

Every team needs experience. With Ali, Robbo, Virg, Endo and Salah we have the experience. None of them are that old though. 4 or 5 older ones, 6 or 7 younger ones ... its a good balance. Milner was great to have around. Experience is priceless.

Gini was offered a 3 year deal which he turned down as he wanted 4. Imagine having a 33yo Gini, who had to go to SA to find playing time, still with another year left with high wage.
