I think Mo leaves at the end of the season judging by that interview. Was asked this could be his last time playing at OT and he said yeah could be.

Class class player. One of the best I've seen in Liverpool red. Owes the club nothing if he wants a new challenge next season.

What is clear however is that if he goes it shouldn't be for the want of trying on behalf of the club to offer him big money to stay.

But if Mo wants to stay , and he is still performing week in week out then there is no doubt imo that they will sort out his contract

I am actually encouraged by what Mo said there. He was effectively saying to the club - make me an offer.

I had more or less resigned myself to him going, so to hear him putting pressure on the club to speak to him is a good sign as far as I'm concerned.

Aye. And how unprofessional and pathetic is that from this football club? Arguably the greatest player we have had in the prem era alongside Gerrard and the club has not got the decency to even communicate with him.

In his heart i believe he wants to stay. In his head he believes its his last year because nobody even communicates with him. Should be easy  to sort out. The man is fit, strong and driven and is in the top ten players in the world. Not that you would know it. I feel he is disapponted that nobody even speaks with him and he wanted to get that out today.

Agree with this; I think he wants to play at the highest level through the 25-26 season, at least. There is an AFCON in winter 25/26 and I think he is desperate to win that with Egypt.

I'm guessing that he will sign a 2 year extension.

Not Mo’s or his agents job to push for a new contract. It’s the clubs responsibility to offer him one. Then he and his agent negotiate.

When we bought Diaz, it was to replace Mane. Perhaps Chiesa is Mo's replacement?  altho his main position is left wing. But him and Diaz can play both flanks.

I hope one of the reasons we haven't spent this summer, is to be able to offer Trent, Mo and Virg new contracts.

£33 Million saved from wages surely that's enough to sort out the 3 amigos contracts.

The contract situation is the elephant in the room and needs sorting ASAP. I find it hard to believe they have had no contact with Mo, and I assume the situation is the same with the other 2 players as well, it comes across as unprofessional bordering on stupidity! Let’s hope all the contract situations are sorted during the International break and we can concentrate on the football!

Maybe they do see Chiesa as his replacement but it’s big shift from last summer
