Playing through the pain for sure. Big respect to him for that, and he played really well yesterday.

Reports he’s still struggling with his ankle. Yet he’s still gone on international duty. Surely we should be pulling him ffs. Something I’d like to see us doing more tbh.

Not something you see happen that much these days. Mancs made a habit of it during Ferguson’s years and like you say, I would like to see us do it a little more.

He had a very good game yesterday, hopefully that's him back and in form.

He’s one of those players that is always fit and recovers quickly. I reckon he’ll be in contention

Not great, but hopefully its not to serious, in the meantime we can play with 2 forwards or give Origi some more game time or even the Ox, we'll survive.

Glad hes out for international games.

Well for a player apparently out of form, he’s got the same combined total of goals and assists in the league as he has at this stage in his first two seasons at the club. He’s also been carrying an injury this season.

Its ok, we can cope with that, we have 2 other very good forwards who are arguably in better form than Mo anyway. Plus we have Origi who is playing pretty well and even Ox if push comes to shove.

Dude, you perpetually under appreciate what Salah brings to the team. If he’s out for a month we will miss him in a big way. You can play Origi, Ox, Keita or whoever and there will be a considerable drop off. It’s a massive miss if he’s out fir that long.

Weren't you one of the ones who was arguing over the summer that we didn't need a 4th top quality forward? ;-)

If not then apologies but in all honesty our team at the moment is good enough to cope with one injury to our forward line, if we get 2 then it gets a bit trickier, mind you we seemed to cope ok last year against Barcelona ;-)

Other way around fella, I was canvassing for a quality addition to the front line to avoid there being such a drop off and to enable a little more rotation to keep everyone fresh.
