There’s nothing more blinkered than arriving at conclusions based on two games. Your opinion of the player seems to change with the wind.

Just look at his body of work over the season and the two previous seasons. Surely judgements should be based on that? He is a terrific player. Scores goals, creates goals, occasionally he can be a bit selfish and take the shot when the pass looks a better option but he pretty much guarantees 20 goals and nigh on 10 assists every season. He effects defences just by being in the pitch, they are scared stupid, they drop off, opposing full backs are less likely to get forward and ironically his propensity to shoot means defences cheat over to his side and it affords space for Mane and Robertson on the other side.

He's just WUMming mate.

Every season he tries to create a divisive narrative, then never stops going on about.

I only see his posts because people quote him.

17  games isn't being blinkered the lad had a nasty ankle injury which you conveniently forget to mention an injury he tried to play with for a while. I hope he keeps being a greedy f**ker we need all our players to be greedy.

Spot on these lads give us everything they can is it not reasonable for them to expect our support even when they may be slightly off form. Every single one of them will have periods of outstanding form average form and poor form but our support should be total.

I think that Mo Salah is playing a lot better now that he is a bit less selfish.

I see Mohammad is another of our players who stayed on Merseyside during the break.

Warm weather is always nice but if I had a week off, especially if I had small kids, I'd think about a stay-cation and not going overseas.

Sounds like Lovren, Sadio and Milner also stayed, although the latter two may have been doing  rehab work still as they look to return from injury.

So you can't look or see trends then? This season as a whole I think Salah has been below his best BUT in his last 2 games he's looked much better, which has coincided with him being happier to pass the ball, that is all I'm commenting on, weird why its getting criticised?

not sure what happened to my post on Mo but basically you have to question the motives of anyone who questions Mo's contribution to this seasons  formidable success.
there is an old saying that a very small number of posters should heed and it goes like this " if you cant say anything good or positive say nothing at all".
Mo is our main man as are the other 10 that join him he is part of a team of players who collectively are so much more potent than they are as individuals

Yup.

I think the idea that the best team in the world isn't engaging in these giant transfers for three consecutive windows (and maybe not this summer either) really bothers some with a financial interest in the game - as these deals end up lining the pockets of so many in different parts of the football world. So they try to conjure up an issue and bang a drum about it in the hopes it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

But as you say it is sheer lunacy for anyone calling themselves a Liverpool fan to want rid of this great player.
