That’s my point though forwards have evolved and, despite Bobby starting in a forward position, his contribution does not come in the form of an abundance of goals. Many would argue that Mane had a better season than Mo (myself included) yet the latter had more goals and more assists.

I've been critical of Mo lately but I thought he was our best attacker today by some margin, very good.

Well he was certainly back with a bang today wasn't he, absolutely sensational and a fantastic hat-trick too, made up for him as he's been the subject of some unfair criticism of late.

It seemed today he was missing the golden boot on his fire place.    A hatrick away from his century for us!

Was awesome yesterday, sharp as a razor. We’re very lucky to have him. I completely agree with the comments Carra made about him being under appreciated by many LFC fans.

I don't know if anybody noticed this yesterday but there was a moment yesterday in the first half where Mane cut inside and took a shot from an unlikely position and Mo was open and probably would've been the better option. After taking the shot he tried apologize but Mo reacted by gesturing to him it was all good and kinda made that ''no no it's all good have at it again'' gesture with his hands.

It was a small little thing but it made feel the little tension (that some made it sound like a war) that was there last season is gone. They seem to be enjoying themselves a bit more and focused on scoring goals and not who will or has scored them.

Not that I was one of those crucifying Mo, quite the contrary actually, but I feel yesterday he raised his head a bit more with the ball and looked before deciding what to do and this is when he is at his best and becomes a chance creation machine.

Didn't notice that bud, but did notice when Mo bagged his first, Sadio was almost last one in to congratulate him but gave him a head pat and I think I may even seen an attempt at a kiss on the head.    Was lovely to see.

I think we're in for a huge season from Mo.

One thing I can see from his game so far this season is that Mo is actually less selfish and appears to be looking to create far more than previous seasons.
