Quite simple really, FSG have made plenty of mistakes in their ownership of the club but if they don’t give Salah the new contract then that will probably be the biggest mistake they’d have made and could set us back years.

Only have have to look back to when we sold Suarez and how long it took us to recover from that. It could take years to recover from losing Salah because he’s that vital to the team.

I have no doubt just like with Henderson the club are going through negotiations with Salahs team and they will reach an agreement
