I don't even look at fuel prices anymore, I just go fill up, pay then sit in my car and weep before pulling away.

      :lmao:

There's no use worrying about it honestly, nothing I can do to control prices and I'm not going to drive a Prius so...oh well.

I had a mad moment and bought a Wrangler 4.0l convertible. the hood took about 30mins to put back up. I also had the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee mobile arm chairs both of them

What was the wrangler like to live with ( apart from the hood ) was thinking of getting one as a second car.

Just leased a VW Toureg for myself and a Range Rover Evoque for the wife....sounds fancy but the sals you can get over here in the US and the fact that i can get a tax break on both due to our work means that it works out to be a steal!

We got a Wrangler Unlimited (4 door) a few months back.

I love it. Ride is a little rough, but love the convertible factor and the fact that it would  go anywhere I'd ever ask it.

Why did the U.K. get an awesome version of the Ford Escort? The 80s and 90s Escorts were complete, 100% sh*t. 4cyl, no power, ugly sh*t boxes that constantly broke down. The only good 90s Fords were the 5.0 Mustang and the Taurus SHO.

Replaced the 80's and early 90's hooligans car, the Sierra cosworth, more of a homage to the 80's 3 door Sierra Cosworth..

Did the U.K. get the 5.0 Mustangs? I love those Fox body Mustangs. Especially the 88'-89' that had the T-tops.
You had to actually put on an aftermarket strut tower brace on some of the T-Top 5.0's. The 1st Gen. 5spd models had insane HP and gearing on the low end.The torque in the 1-3 gears on them would generate body twist and the T-Tops would actually crack and even pop off while driving. My friend had one and he had to get bigger gaskets because the twist made his Tops leak.

You guys really dont get any of our "Muscle Cars". The new Mustangs, Camaros and especially the new Dodge "Hemi's' like the SRT Hellcat and the utterly ridiculous Dodge Demon which beats the Bugatti SS, Nissan GT-R AND McLaren P1 in 0 to 60, 0 to 100 and 1/4 mile. It evens beats the Dodge Viper ACR.

Yeh love the Camaro, you can't beat a bit of muscle from America, we have an AC Cobra replica in the body shop we built from the ground up using genuine parts from america including the correct V8 engine that we use as a demo car..

      That's insane.

My neighbor had a Cobra replica, can't remember which builder, out of Arizona. He had it parked in his driveway one day and it caught fire. I saw smoke coming from under the car cover, called 911 and by the time the fire trucks got there it was engulfed. Think it was an electrical issue, thank goodness it wasn't in his garage. He got another one and man it's a beast....I can hear it coming from a half mile down the road.

HOLY sh*t....Thats a nice car you got. The AC Cobra is my all time favorite. I believe Shelby actually started out in England. He was working for Sunbeam and put in a 4.7 289 V8 in the Sunbeam Alpine. A f***in' V8 Sunbeam. They were the same size as an MG and had a Shelby V8 in it...He was a maniac. I worked at Mustangs Unlimited in Atlanta for a few years and we had a 427 Cobra and the Sunbeam Tiger in our garage. All original.
