Should pull a RB Leipzig on them: tell them to come back with a £140 million offer, then toss it in the bin in front of their noses and tell them to f**k off once and for all.

It's getting more and more embarrassing for Barcelona the longer this goes on.

That's one of the spots in midfield taken it would seem. No wonder Xavi was giving him the 'bigging up' the usual come hither bullshit by these fuckers.

Hasn't signed, balague quoting a inactive account,  seri has a buyout clause of 40 million but are under no obligation to sell even if it is met.

When Neymar left them he took away half of their credibility. You'd have to be a complete idiot to leave a good team to go to Barca now.

They know, like we know, they wouldn't be able to spend the money successfully. I mean, just look at our window thus far and see how goal posts have been moved by fans who'd rather see Coutinho go now, we can go and buy such and such. No folk, we could have gone and bought such and such two months ago.

When you're as inept as us at landing your targets, your best off keeping your best players and trying to talk them around for another season.

It's like the statements made months ago about this window (going as far back as Xmas, when we we should've been trying to sign a player or two THEN, and were told, sh*t NO lets do it properly in the summer) have been completely forgotten.
This was supposed to be the window of windows.  Think 'inept' describes what we've done so far pretty well.

For all the sh*t they're getting over this ridiculous ultimatum, at least they're trying to sign someone, not saying "well there's no one better than Coutinho so we'll stick with what we've got". More than can apparently be said for us.

So they're giving us an ultimatum to change our minds on an offer we rejected after we told them not to bother. Am I missing something? F***ing idiots, that club has well and truly lost the plot and is spiralling

I thought our public apology was embarrassing but this tops that, well done Barca.

So I'm assuming Coutinho will be available against Hoffenheim then?
On a more serious note, we should hold a press conference tomorrow evening, to announce our bid for Suarez  :)

      F**k Barca.

      F**k Barca.
Actually we should activate Umtiti's release clause so they will have to renegotiate his salary. Heard he is on 40k per week, probably should be double that. If we trigger hisbclause and offer him 70k then Barca would have to offer him more to keep him most likely.

Take your ultimatum and shove it up your arses, you Cu*ts.

After you have done that, send Luis back for free.

Tight Cu*ts. Used to have a soft spot for them only coz I love Suarez, but they can all go f**k themselves.

Barcelona close to signing Nice's Jean Seri but are still considering a new bid for Philippe Coutinho. (@ed_aarons)

I hope if we reject the new bid they don't threaten to withdraw it unless we accept.

Must admit I'm a bit less inclined to poke fun at the "ultimatum". I think we're missing the point a bit......it's not  about a deluded macho Hispanic stereotype tub-thumping to show they're not happy........

It's about letting their fans know that they are negotiating behind scenes contrary to LFC public statements........the question is whether you (we) choose to believe it or not.

It's actually a clever tactic. Puts pressure on Coutinho to push for the move even harder.

I genuinely think he'll be gone come 31/8

Yeah, always thought that Madrid were the arseholes of La Liga but events of the past few seasons have made me rapidly consider the two clubs on a level footing.
