This thread needs locking. It's paranoid garbage, FSG bashing, Daily Sport qouting,  Mirror reading, Drunk posting, Metro believing bollocks. The Mirror quoting a source in Spain, other papers quoting Mirror. I'll quote Klopp. Not for Sale. Go get some quotes of Twitter ITK's to prove me wrong I guess and we can all get paranoid again

Whatever happens with Couts needs to happen within next Tuesday.  If Couts plays against Hoffenheim, he will be cup tied. If he doesn't play.....
      if he's fit he plays.

Familliar ring to our transfer policy there

And you know it, easy in hindsight to say we should of bought him, but the fact the kid thought he was good enough for a crack of our then midfield, should be enough sign to get him fully signed up.

Yet again another decision left to the bean counters.

Actually sure that rule doesn't apply anymore, in that he could play for us, be sold to Barca and still play in the group stages.

This is the cover from Sport, says
      "Coutinho, final assault"

Apparently FSG hace given the ok for Coutinho to go, based on this report:

      http://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/liverpool-give-barcelona-the-ok-to-go-for-philippe-coutinho-6210155
It doesn't have any quotes or anything so I don't believe what they say.

Probably using Sport of Mundo Deportivo as source as they are the ones reporting that.

I believe they are going to make a final offer of around 100-110 million pounds, which should be rejected right away in my opinion.

That plus the Express story that was doing the rounds today all rehashed from that sport publication. Don't think there's any need to go all Captain Mainwaring just yet. Stand down troops!!

Without the clubs permission then, looks like we can accuse them for tapping up if that's the case.

Can't happen, at this point, a week from starting the league, would be disastrous this. I still don't think it'll happen, but all this rumours are starting to mess with my head and I am starting to doubt. We should take RBL stance with Keita as an example, and do what they did to us.

They've got £200m in the bank.

      That's the starting price.

Otherwise pluck some kid from your academy like you claim to have some sort of production line of talent you annoying cu*ts.

What's a ridiculous bid though Red in FSG eyes, I'm convinced £100m or near and they jump at the deal.

They are parasites and have no interest in trophies it's all.

If they can make a profit they will.

So how much money have they taken out of the club then or are they not that kind of parasite and was building the new stand a mistake on their part or were they forced to do it. This anti FSG sh*t is really starting to piss me off, yes we'd all love them to sign Neymar, Pogba, Mbala and every other super inflated player etc but in reality I just wanted sensible owners who run the club well, invest properly, listen to the fans and in that regard they seem ok to me.

I think the Spanish press are being quite mischievous with some of the rumours and reporting coming out today. I am actually far more confident that we keep the lad now compared to whe the first bid came in. Jürgen has come out and rubbished it a few times, he even had a few jibes about the reports of them "apparently coming to England to make the deal" in the last interview I saw him give.

I guess we'll find out the true resolve to keep the player IF they stump a truly big offer in the region of £110-120 million. But the it's all relative, Keita has had what? One decent season under his belt and £70 million doesn't get him and Phil is twice the player he is.

With knowledge that this is very clearly Barca pushing these false stories over and over again, I can't understand how this wouldn't be considered a form of "tapping up"?

Guess it's different when you've got FIFA in your bed.
