Liked what I saw from him today, totally bizarre from Arne to sub off the 2 fullbacks today.

In fact all the subs were terrible, Endo should've been on for Jones much sooner.....Harvey should've come on for Mo much sooner and Fede should've been on for Jota.

We ultimately won the match with the substitutes all on the field so I don't think that was the issue today.

It wouldn’t be a surprise and it’s right that they manage his minutes

Yeah.......no thanks to captain Virg and Ali bailing us out time after time, the game was slipping away from us and no one could've bemoaned had it ended a draw. We weren't in the game at all 2nd half.

Given none of the subs had a positive impact on the game, I'll stand to disagree with that.

No way was Conor playing the full 90 though. Next week he should be much closer to it.

Agree with the call for needing fresh legs sooner.

Jota it's the same issue over and over, not involved enough. Being a quality finisher is not enough, especially in today's game when athleticism is so important. 14 touches he had in an hour of play, and that's at home to a team sitting 17th. Just lacks the physical characteristics we need in a #9. Him starting every game has also coincided with the quietest spell for Mo, that is not a coincidence. For the last 20 minutes last week and the first hour this, when Bradley was on the field, Mo was the most involved he had been in the last half dozen games. We have to be supporting our best player with the players around him that gets the most from him, and a mobile/strong #9 who can also finish (last part rules out Nunez) is what we need to be bringing in.

Can you show me on a doll where Jota hurt you

This rhetoric you are going for in regards Jota somehow being a cause for Mo not playing as well is poor

He’s got the tools and the belief, the question will be staying healthy and becoming a touch better with attacking passes. Defensively he’s got an engine on him, definite drop off when he went off. I’m still a little skeptical of the dropoff from Trent to him but probably going to be what it is if the rumors of Trent leaving are true.

Conor might not be able to replicate some of the things Trent can do but the team can adapt and improve if Trent leaves.

Most of us would agree that Conor is as good defensively as Trent, perhaps a bit better. I think he's better at getting up and down the pitch, some of his under lapping runs when he's fully fit have been very important to our attacking play.

The main thing he can't replicate currently is Trent's passing range. But yesterday Ibou made a couple of very good long passes for Mo, admittedly against a weak fullback. If Ibou can continue to develop confidence with his passing range we can mitigate the loss of Trent's offensive abilities.

It should just be a backup. Conor is going to be a great RB.

He’s got a ways to go in terms of fitness and sharpness, but my god it’s nice to see a right back doing actual right back things.

There is a big difference in playing every 3-4 days week and week out

You have to build and condition your body to play with the intensity

The question we need to ask ourself is do you think Bradley can play 40-45 games per season fully fit ?

I actually think he would be an even better full back had he not had his injury issues as he would have improved training wise

We definitely need another proper right back to compete and rotate. Data tells you Bradley has not yet shown he can handle a full intensive season and the truth is, we don’t know if will be a Reece James or Trent  level of fitness at this stage
