Hes a good player Robbo. Best in the world? We don't have 1 player that's the best in the world bar the goalkeeper IMO.

I don't see the decline at all. Thought he was one of our better players yesterday - his role has changed but he certainly was more productive than Trent on the other side or in midfield.

Each to their own. Still one of the first names on teams heat for me.

Time is catching up with Robbo

I think his quality is making overlapping runs and we don’t want to play like that anymore

But the problem is, I still feel that is the way to go to break down low blocks

I feel for him, I don’t think the current set up works for him but he used to be vital in breaking low blocks with his runs to make space

No decline at all basically means to say you still think the Robbo we're seeing today is prime Robbo?

He was absolutely shocking yesterday, didn't do a single thing.

Looks like there's 11 first names on the team sheet as far as Arne is concerned no matter how sh*t they play.

No it's my honest assessment. He has a much more nuanced role last 18 months because of the inverted role of TAA.

I've watched the lad since he was a kid. I see a player that has developed really well into a mature leader on and off the park.

If you're looking for 17-22 setup then you very clearly don't understand what you're watching.

We don't have marauding fullbacks since Trent started inverting. We can't as there would be zero balance and your CBs would be auxiliary fullbacks in a back 2....

I know what im seeing  and for me he has started the season well and didn't do much wrong yesterday - certainly not enough to be singled out before a number of others......

Short of Scotia, I'm probably the biggest Robbo supporter on here. I think he's being ask to do things outside his comfort zone, especially last year with Klopps tweaked system. He's started well this season, and I think he can have a good season this year. But I do think that he isn't quite as effective as he used to be. Whether it's the system change that requires him to stay deeper or him getting up in age. Probably a bit of both. I do think teams know how to play him better now and know he's almost incable of making a right footed pass.....

Will still be wearing his jersey on my first visit to Anfield in December

Into his 30’s now having given his all and some would say more playing in a Klopp team, bound to accelerate your decline, he’s not a machine.

Not worried about robbo, caught out by the goal , but overall this talk about him being poor or on the downward slope is wide of the mark.

I love him but I do think his days are numbered now. Even with the rotation he looks well off it when called upon.

Think LB has shot up the list of priorities for Slot in the next couple of windows.

Unless you think he's playing as well now as he has ever done in the past, or, if you think he's going to play as well, or better, than he used to in the future, then he must by definition be on a downward slope.

Think the man who will pay the price for Robbos form in the long run could be Kostas.

IE Robbo becomes 2nd choice as he gets older and a first choice is brought in.
