Maureen set up with Dalot in a specific role to stop this kid.

      Didn’t work.

So at halftime he put on Fellaini to try sit on Fab and stop him dictating play and winning every header in the middle.

2nd half - Robbo decimates their right side and Fab still runs the show.

Teams setting up to limit our fullback.....with our front 3!

      Inject it!

Andy hasn't just got speed, he has got the football talent to go with the speed.

Proved to all of us that Klopp knows best.

Yes he's proved quite a few of you fans wrong on here and now become Klopp lovers  ;D As for me? I always like him.  :f_whistle: ;)

He definitely knows how not to slow down our attack when we've spaces ahead to run the fast break.

If I’m being honest, he actually was human yesterday, crosses and corners weren’t that great, but I’ll be damned if he was till 7/10 for me. Kid is a superstar in the making.

Yet another quality buy by Klopp. Didn't think he was up to this grade but he's proved me wrong. Lucky cu*ts you  ;D

He's old school, came up the hard way, and it shows.

I think he’s up there but admittedly I don’t watch a whole lot of football outside of Liverpool games. I certainly don’t think there’s a more consistent left back in the Premier League. Mendy and Alonso have their moments but I doubt they are held in the same regard (as Robbo is here) at their respective clubs.

That’s the difference there - they are average full-backs but (Alonso) particularly carry a goal threat.

Andy is becoming a truly exceptional full-back who can create - the goal threat will come too I think.

As all round players and overall influence those two aren’t close to our guy.

Maureen's quote about him being tired of looking at "that kid" Andy made me laugh.

He is so similar to the other Robert(o)   and his surname was Carlos.

Think it was on MOTD the question was asked how good is he and the answer was that only Marcelo was Andy's equal right now.   Thats a big, big compliment.

Wouldn't even put Alonso in the same breath as Robertson personally (but like you say a good attack/goal threat).

I wouldn’t take anyone else in the league over him. If Mendy wasn’t so injury prone he’s the only one that would make you think.

These posts just get better and better with age.

I think we’d all want to go and hide if reminded of some of our old posts
Although some called it a lot didn’t when VVD was at Celtic. When I was looking in the rumours thread around the time he signed for Southampton in 2015 randomly there were a few loosing their sh*t we let Tiago Ilori go  :lmao:
(For those of you not following the travails of young Tiago he recently lost his place in the mighty Reading side to the fabled John O’Shea. Alas our young hero has since reclaimed his rightful spot)

100% agree - but half of twitter thinks fantasy football points are a good judge of a player 🙄

Not really talking about position, more his style, his tenacity and his willingness to run through a brick wall as the old saying goes.

Starting to make the odd mistake, think he could use a rest. Last few games haven't been the best from him.

Was expecting that to happen yesterday in all honestly, but I believe he was our only fit left back. Post Man City hopefully we can give him a breather.

      Thought he was excellent yesterday.

Perhaps a consequence of how good his form has been. Every player makes mistakes every game.

Even big Virg lost his shape for the Ritchie cross yesterday.

Was laughing at Henderson bollocking him after he slipped, and then got back in the wrong position.

      He had a good game.

      He is only human mate.

Even on an off day he's still far better than any other LB options we have.
